I know in SoCal, there has been an abundance of hotels in the last few years so there is a bit of a glut. |

Not really. The 737 was orginally meant to be a short range aircraft. The 757 was meant to be the replacement for the 727. The never produced 757-100 would have had the same seating capacity at the 727 but the airlines wanted bigger. Of course as time went on that bigger was too big and the 757 getting classified as a heavy due to it's vortex (i.e. airport issues) the 757's interest started to decline. So Boeing created the 737-900 which I'd say is the true replacement of the 727-200.

Anyone here get the DL MQM/NW EQM promotion in their account? I emailed TTU to see if they would give me some EQMs to get started. My Worldperks account is long dormant but I'm plotting to get to silver status with NW by year-end. Of course I had to wait until all the DEQM promotions expired but hey..
