I have a bunch of very odd intra-NJ lines from when I flew private with my father. I have not seen any other FM user with MJX-TEB.

I would put PMP-PMP from my brief ride in the Goodyear blimp. But, I don't remember exactly when that was. It was definitely sometime in the late 90s. I hate my memory.

I must repeat my hatred for customizing cover letters. I'm way to modest. Better than being a D. Bag I suppose.

That wasn't a fun part of the job search for me last summer. Had to keep modifying resumes and cover letters for every job.

Glad I am where I am now though!

I'm looking for a new job.. haven't sent out any resumes yet but can't say I'm looking forward to the multiple updates either.

Gratuitous post number 40 made only in order to get rid of this page and get us to the next.

Yep, I've hated that every time I've done it. Luckily several of the companies I've applied to didn't require a cover letter.

+1

I have about 35-40 different cover letters.

I was in IAH twice today. Once around 7:30am and again at 7:00pm. (SAV-IAH-LAX-IAH)

But, I didn't go to baggage claim until this evening.

On-line applications are the worse because it all looks like crap in the end because everthing is in courier w/o formating and even though they claim you can cut and paste w/ formating you get "post like Rolo" when you hit preview. Those systems are a case of just being lucking enough to have the right key words for the computer system to consider you because HR people have gotten lazy.

Recently??? Whenever I had contact with a fairly large company, it was apparent that they had selected the crowd in the HR Departments (in those days it was called the "Personnel Department") from the bottom of the barrel.

I found this link of upcoming companies in AUS to be interesting. Not finding a lot of mech stuff for myself but if you're in IT perhaps it could help (I forgot what you said you were looking for. :))

I'll rephrase what I said. HR people have become even more lazy if that's possible. I will admit to knowing the rare few good people at that job but most are clearly scraping the barrel.

I really do think I need to dumb down my resume considerably because of these morons.

Alpine can be quite pleasant this time of year. This is the first summer I'm not headed there for work, and I kind of miss it. It was always a nice respite from the Texas heat, and I've had to turn on the heat in the hotel room in the morning more than once in July/August.
