I don't know when I'll start flying again. I really want to take advantage of the BF Holiday specials (BL JR will need it for requalifying purposes). The @:-) went off yesterday that I won't be driving for a while either  which may drive me over the edge (or drive me to hit someone over the head with one of my crutches).

I'm likely to have a monster 2,186 more for the year. No gold for me with that. :(

Hmmm. Greyhound like this:

and Amtrak like these:

Tough choice.

I really must say This is far superior than either of the above.

^ I don't always agree with your picks, but this one I definitely did.

I have to ask, does anyone else have bazzar things happen when they click on the Amazon link? For the second time in the past few days, me clicking on a link to a Amazon page has made IE go beyond wobbly bonkers and try to open up a zillion tabs, all to the saym Amazon page.

Speaking of trains, when I informed baglady today that 1st class seating was not available on a portion of our CDG-DNR-CDG trip on the TGV, she was most .

I haven't. I've been using Firefox 3.5.2, which seems to only go wobbly bonkers on Yahoo.

No, not I.

We're watching Mission Impossible II (despite owning it, we've both never seen the whole thing ) and can't believe the advancements in consumer electronics since 2000 when it was released. The digital cameras (and their memory cards) and the cell phones used in the movie are HUGE.

Nothing else in the film looks dated at all, even the computers.

ETA - I take that back. While the Audi, the Porsche, the SUVs and the motorcycles still look fine, they numerous old style Tauri that keep getting blown up look way non-current.

I've had this happen before (on other than Amazon) and it drives me nuts. Can't shut them fast enough. Am forced to log out and back in. I googled this once but never found a definitive reason for why it was occurring.

Some cell phones are still pretty large.

Every once in a while, I get that right here on FT if I try to kill a page that's loading slowly.

At least they won't flip forward or back depending which direction the train is traveling.
