They require tennis shoes? I've never heard of that. Is that so they don't have to change for recess?

It seems like he knows how to cook but the format is ridiculous.

Did you get a medical waiver with drs. note?

She has a (at last check) 101.4 degree fever. We don't want to subject her or the pax to her right now. Unfortunately, the ticket wasn't bought in V class, so no refund. Change fee is $150 + difference in ticket price? What if the new fare is less?

I assembled my inversion table today - fortunately, I noted the step that was omitted on page one of the instructions.

I then got to be parental / first-responder person - guy sliced his arm at recycling center, and elderly woman lost her dog in a parking lot.

You'll get the difference in the form of a voucher.

Glad I haven't seen this yet. Sounds almost as bad as a certain wide receiver with an interior design show.

anyone else here a Priority Club member? They are starting to go all out, even at a candlewood I stayed at last week, they had for me a welcome kit with lotion, premium conditioner and shampoo, and a bag of chocolate covered raisins and a chocolate mint bar. I hit platinum next stay, I am wondering what will happen :D

Yeah, I am. They're one of my backup programs, used mainly for Holiday Inn Express stays in places where I have no other option, or that's the best of the options. Apparently I just hit G:rolleyes:ld status again with them a week or so ago.

Since I've got two clients right now where I'll be staying at Holiday Inn Express locations, I'm sure I'll probably end up with Platinum with them before too long.

But have you seen the T.O. Show.

I've spent most of the day fighting with my servers and migrating my email to the new hosting system. Blackberry was a royal PITA but it all appears to be working now. :D

Sounds about right. I'm guessing that you are thinking of the hotel/apartment building across the road from the beach with the big gap in the middle to allow the dragon to come down from the hills to the beach. It looked nice but I didn't go inside.

That sounds like the place.

Back from the Big D. Thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes; it was a good one. :)

The Dallas Renaissance didn't exactly wow me (no suite, no big deal though) and I am becoming increasingly despondant at the lack of detail reguarding my personal profile (extra pillows and towels) at full service properties. Anywho, dinner at Bob's was absolutely amazing. Surrounded by people who clearly had a lot more money than I do, but I got the same food they were getting and it was great.

This morning we stopped in Waco so I could take my wife through the Dr. Pepper museum and get a cane sugar Dr. Pepper float. Good times; now back to looking for a job.

Glad you had such a great birthday and weekend! I agree that MR has gotten increasingly bad about ignoring the profile. I will get the extra towels at a few (and I mean few) properties, but the extra pillows are few are far between. Glad Bob's was such a wonderful dinner and lived up to expectations!

I guess. I thought I heard tennis shoes or rubber soled shoes but the sheet they gave us clearly states "TENNIS SHOES ONLY". There goes all the cute shoes I've bought her. I guess those will be her out to dinner/weekend/holiday shoes . She has plenty of tennis shoes or shoes that I think will pass for tennis shoes. I think that if they wear shoes that aren't going to fall off at recess (I get no flip flops) or that they can run in, but I guess I need to deal with all these new rules.

Poor thing! I hope she feels better soon! You were right to keep her home. There's always a possibility you can get a medical waiver when you tell them she was so sick she couldn't fly and will be going to the drs. I haven't had to cancel very often because of it, but I do know there was one time I was able to cancel with a drs. note. They made a note in the res. and when I rebooked the agent was able to see it.

Dinner is started. Making grilled fish tacos tonight – something we both love, but haven't made in ages. Yesterday at the store my partner requested them for tonight. Just finished the marinade for the fish, and it's in the fridge now working its magic.

There are many things worse than being IC Platinum. And they have a nice little 10,000 point bonus for doing business with four partners at the moment.

And now back to the task I started earlier – balancing and reconciling my frequent flier and hotel accounts against the database I keep to track that stuff. I haven't done this in months, and it's going to take a lot of time to get it done.

Right now I'm missing precisely 19,366 miles total among three different activities among all airline / hotel programs.
