The worst part is I gave him an option of going later to make up the time (1 hour of duty) and I would then drive him to the Fair. |

That reminds me of a high school field trip. In my senior year, my Television Class went on a tour of Channel 2 in Houston. There were about 12 to 16 people both male and female with the males outnumbering. Our instructor asked were we wanted to go to lunch. The guys started yelling Hooters. The guys won out and the instructor was cool with it. Othis was 1992 in #&) afterall. so the bus driver was told to take us there. One thing she didn't tell us is that she told the bus driver to pull right up to the front door and let us out. That did not get best reaction from the guys on the bus. :) Although a group of businessmen coming outta Hooters looked at us and said 'Wish I had a highschool field trip like that' Needless to say the guys in the group had a goodtime. |

We went to Rainbow Lodge last night before the big storm rolled through. As the first course arrived the power went out and stayed out. The restaurant staff was great but told us they had to close. Without power they couldn't take credit cards and they just told us to go ahead and leave (with our drink and first course our tab was at least $40). I left all of my cash for the guy...

I've been to Hooter's once. The mother of a friend of my best friend took us there while going to see a baseball game in Baltimore. We were all 15 and this was on C&P or Bell Atlantic (the predecessors to Verizon, for the younger posters in the Box) Day.
It was fun and he drank them dry(the one paying) but people don't go there for the food generally. |
