Looks like ACK - which was a real shocker the first time I flew into it. I think at that point the smallest airport I'd ever seen was...CAK or something... :p

I am the STRANGEST combination of super-old-fashioned about some things and not at all about others - it makes no sense to anyone, including me, but that's how it turned out... :)

Once we finally got off the ground last night, my flight was fine. The almost 4 hour delay wasn't really appreciated, but given the amazing storms I saw passing through I was quite happy to be in the terminal and on the ground then. Went to dinner in downtown DEN with a customer and a pax I met on the flight. One of the few places that was open carded us :rolleyes: as we tried to enter. The other pax we had picked up was quite impressed -- he's got quite a bit more gray hair than I do.

11:00 eastern? central? Mountain? Hawaiian? I have no idea what channel it is on.

Speaking of TV, that show w/ Keyshawn Johnson is not on HGTV, so my friend has no idea whose idea it was to bring that show to fruition. I had no idea it was on A&E.

Yesterday, a client decided to "discount" her payment of my invoice because of the "economy". :confused::confused: Cough, cough! Since when can she decide that she doesn't want to pay my fee because she's strapped for cash and so she deducted $550 from my invoice.... :mad: I wouldn't mind, but I had already agreed to charge her less than normal. Naturally, I will not be performing any more work for her unless she pays me up front.


Today, I had a call scheduled with a client. He has shifted this call around so many times. Finally, I get on the phone to him - and guess what - his admin tells me he's "stepped out" and could he call me when he gets back in ten minutes. This guy has scheduled and moved this call so many times in the last week - I told her to reschedule it for this afternoon and if I don't speak with him then, I will not include his input in the discussion and final decision. :rolleyes:

i wouldn't mind, but I have been very flexible and tolerant of this guy's lack of respect for others' time, that now, I'm done with him. Where is the smiley for smoke coming out of the ears? :eek:

She's the mindless one who asserted that she wasn't sure if the Earth was flat, and also claimed that Jesus walked the (flat) Earth before the existence of the Greek and Roman empires. She's an unsuccessful standup comic that frequently puts her foot in her mouth. I don't watch The View; I learned all of this from her Wiki page. I'd imagine that regular View watchers enjoy her presence because she seems to be really good at making a fool of herself.
