I used to be a novell software grubber, never used it in production however, I went to a conference and they put me on the developer partner list and sent me tons of free software, I don't know I'd say every software they released for 2 years....funny thing is, I was 16 at the time I went and I just signed a sheet at the table...maybe I unknowingly won a door prize.

I don't have a camera crew; just the papparazzi to worry about ;)

She was surprised when she moved to this company from the last one (which was almost as large as her current and part of Berk/Hath)

Remarkably, I've actually never stayed at the Aladdin/P.Ho or Maxim/Westin Casuarina in LAS. I figured that using the free night in LAS at the P.Ho would at least get me a bottle of hooch, and the room rates in AUA are about the same on a weekend. I'm not thinking either AUA or LAS - I'm thinking both ...

Sounds like fun! ^ I'm likely to use my two nights for NYC -- that always makes for a fun w/end!

Resume and coverletter editing stinks. That's the fifth circle. Various pieces of software all suck briefly at various times, but that form of editing is utterly and completely sucktastic all the time, without exception.

We or should I say, I have decided on the W Washington, D.C. to use our free weekends at. I have one and the s/o has one available so we have two seperate reservations. I am plat, the s/o is not  (just gold thanks to a certain lady ;))

We have also decided to take Amtrak down since it was $49 each way.

My leave calendar seems to include AUA, LAS, Missouri wilderness, Tennessee wilderness, and a Florida Hyatt suite. Thinking of taking approximately two months off in total.

Good thing I have other plans this weekend! ;)

I think I am going to pick up some premium day shift overtime on Saturday since the s/o will be busy with some  and we are going to take the dogs swimming Sunday in upstate NY.

The bordem and the constant threat of getting hit by a truck wouldn't make for a good DO.

Ok, one more question - is there any way to find out ahead of time what runway/direction a flight will be using? (I'm still sorting through the links you provided so if it is there, my apologies!). I looked at Flightaware and similar websites but did not see that specific information. Since they seem to lag a bit real time, once the heading does show up, it's usually too late.

The planes are pretty low over my house and if I have friends/family arriving I sometimes go out to see if I can see their plane (and take the appropriate photo). So maybe I am a mini-nerd..

On flightaware, if you look at the 'Route' on the right side it will tell you the route expected on the original flight plan. Of course, this is subject to change but if you reference the route with the Jeppesen charts, you'll figure out the approaches. Again, that can change at a whim with weather and other factors.

I wish. I actually need to be there in the morning so unless something opens up on the 7am, i'll be taking United. I'm glad I had thought to make a backup res as there was only 1 seat left on UA.
