It's not me - it's DL. I'm losing my hair - I have no problem taking 20,000 miles for someone telling me I'm losing my hair. And even if I'm eligible for Lasik, I'm not doing it this year - my eyes got multiple clicks better last year. As a near-sighted person, I've apparently reached the age where eyes shrink and actually improve focus/vision.

Though, it has been awhile since I've fired up MultiPlan or VisiCalc.

About 3 years ago I ran into someone that still had an operational computer that was running DOS and lotus 1-2-3
They also had a x86 machine with windows 1.0, talk about a crappy OS! no wonder people don't really 'remember' windows 1.0. I had a DOS 5.0 upgraded later to 6.22 machine, but it went right to windows 3.0 when it was released...

I loved the original nibbles in dos 5.0 :)

I used a lot of OS/2 Warp in banking industry. along with SYSV

I can talk about everything I have read since I was about 7, I still can see pictures of the pages in my head even.

I remember reading a book one time about my life as a bean burrito, talk about stupid! not sure if such is a blessing or curse, I remember totally trivial things I want to forget.

Not said as a joke: have you been diagnosed as having a truly photographic memory?

They put Q200 on that route from time to time but the majority of the time it is an RJ. Believe it or not, CO has a fair number of customers in the ABE area and the flights to CLE and the bus to EWR usually seem to have solid loads.

ABE is a very nice airport to use as well. You can walk from the economy lot to the terminal building in about 3 minutes, the security lines are almost always short and there is free wifi. ^

CO having a following out there shouldn't surprise me, yet that route being an ERJ did. There is still an outside chance that I could end up working in Bethlehem, so I might at some point be an EWR bus hopper.

I'm pretty sure the F/O you mentioned was not the one he brought to DEN -- his name was Brian. But I don't think I could 'ensure' that he bring your fav F/O!:D

that would take too much time. I would rather work, fly, or have fun.

My mother is nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other. I, OTOH, have been measured at 20/15 and only needed glasses for a brief period in high school and college for eye strain headaches from all the reading that the history profs threw at me.

What about Ami Pro / Word Pro? ;)

Plus1 Aug 3, 2009 10:13 pm

Only up to 9%.

I'm going to have to set an alarm to get up in the middle of the night to check on it. I'd hate to have to do this again.
