Would you opt for shorts or the Ed Hardy jeans?

Does anyone know anything about QuarkXpress?

It keeps crashing on me when I do "Text to Box" conversions to put an image inside my text (I'm recreating those old tyme postcards: "Greetings from XXXX" with the city name in big block letters, drop shadow, and images inside those letters for our save the date). I can't figure out what the deuce is going on and I'm about to throw my Mac out the window.

I promise The Canuck I'd get this done before she got home, but I didn't consider this.:mad::rolleyes:

ETA: hehe. Text to box.

I was thinking of hiring 8 neighborhood kids to accompany me in the wig.

Smart - not including your own child in that mess. ^

That would be so over the top funny...give them more candy than they could ever hope to get along with a little cash, and they have a license to annoy you all night, causing you to yell at them. Wonderfully authentic.

Cargo shorts and sneakers.

(Don't for a minute think that I'm not seriously considering this. My fiancee might be crazy enough to go with it.)

You know, pretty much all of us get Bluetooth earpieces with our phones (even my ancient Bb 8700 came with one, still in packaging somewhere).

Some of the comments from the US Weekly wig page:

LOL WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WANTS TO BE KATE? SAD SAD PEOPLE DO..YES ORDER ME A EXTREMLY UGLY BOTCHED WIG..GIVE ME NO A$$.INFLATABLE BOOBS..AND LATCH 8 SAD LOOKING KIDS TO MY ARMS AS I WALK AROUND WITH MY STUPID PINK PHONE, AND HUGE "MOVIE STAR" GLASSES TRYING REALLY HARD TO "ACT" LIKE A CELEBRITY. PLEASE GO AWAY..FOR THE LOVE OF TASTE..GO AWAY

No assembly required. Small exploited children not included.

I'm sure they will come out with a Jon outfit, Ed Hardy knock off, flip flops, cigarette and blonde crack hoe included.
Priceless. ^ :D

If I can't find the one that came with my Razr, I can always snag my mother's that she doesn't use.

Good - the Ed Hardy shirt is probably expensive; need to get it through eBay or such so the DB doesn't get any revenue.

Ok well, with the interest in having a DO in AUS, I will replace the SAN Brewery DO idea with the AUS DO. Though we will still try to include a brewery or three. :D

I'm thinking mid to late October so that it will have a chance of cooling off a bit. It will all depend on me finding gainful employment though; as soon as that happens I'll start a thread and we can go from there.

Keep in mind xyzzy's NYC Mini DO is late October.

Hello all!

Just wanted to introduce myself and say good evening. I don't hang around these parts much, but I plan on doing so more. How is everyone tonight?

Good point; I forgot about that one. We'll see what happens, certainly nothing is set in stone.

Welcome to the Box.

We're simple folk in here. This is our refuge from the rest of the forum. All are welcome, but please keep the conversation light, topical, and non-confrontational.

In other news, I answered my own Quark question from up-thread. File I was importing was .
