My county in Tennessee tests neither safety nor emissions.

Plus1 is going to LA this weekend, which leaves BL JR and I on our own. I asked her what she wanted to do on our fun filled weekend (unless a good CO special comes along) and here is her list:
Go to the movies (I can't decide which I want to be more tortured with - G Force or Aliens in the Attic) Eat popcorn at the movies Get drinks at the movies (detailed isn't she) Go to a museum (She really wants to go to the Museum of Natural History, but I think I'll do that on a week day, not weekend) Go to some stores and buy things Spend our money Go to the Space Center I'm not sure "our" is in spending "our" money. Mr Brituchenite took LittleMissBrituchenite to see Aliens in the Attic on Saturday night, and he said it was actually quite funny. |

In this one, you can see 4C through 7C. Row 7 has a bit more privacy and storage seats. In the regular seats, you are forced to store things on a "shelf" behind the seat back. |
When I was in VA, it was safety every year and emissions every other year. In Maryland, I also lived in a non-safety / non-emissions county.

That's how it is in ALL of Florida. I'm torn for safety tests. Why? I do believe they should be required for older cars. But... I've seen too many people somehow pay to get their inspection sticker without having gone through inspection. As for emissions, I think cars that are new to 5 years old should be exempt, then test every other year. I think NJ and DE are like that. Here in Texas if you buy a new car, you get 2 years exemption on both safety and emissions, after that every year. :td:

Here is the current inspection sticker that is used when they test for emissions using OBD:

For the normal seats, I'm guessing things need to be removed from the "shelf" behind the seat when moving in to "bed mode"? Only 6 more days until I get to check these out! ^ |
