Exhibit A on why DL is not making any money.

Right at the 90 day mark. I select seats for NRT-HKG tomorrow. :-:

Do you set reminders in Outlook to do so?

Nice! Hope that sticks for you... :)

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for some ATL-ICN availability!

I hope so. I was considering redepositing the award and booking the nonstop on CO and waitlist for an upgrade, but now I think I will keep it.

(SkyTeam partner) and (SkyTeam partner's wholly-owned subsidiary) apparently have a promotion with a LasikPlus for those considering the procedure (NY and VA excluded). I do see this procedure in my future, although not immediate.

Trying to plan travel and purchase tickets when the other half will be going through a name change is quite . A trip in October will be ticketed in her maiden name and a trip in December is already ticketed in her new name. Hopefully she will be able to get the process started in September while still keeping one piece of photo ID in her maiden name until the October trip is complete and then complete the rest of the process before November/December.

Happy birthday Steve Gadfly.

It's a real pain. I would suggest keeping her passport in her maiden name as a backup until you have a new drivers license. The passport change is pretty quick as well.

A low-cost option could conceivably* be for her to "lose" her driver's license in her desk and reorder online - there would still be one around in the desk with maiden name when the other is exchanged.

* In Tennessee, this option would indeed be low-cost - $8 and online.

You should select 2A or 3A if you want to stay on the port side of the plane.

Yeah, that's the plan. Getting a new passport after the domestic trip in October could easily be completed before the international trip in late December.

Interesting idea - I'll have to look in to this as allowing her to keep a DL with her maiden name would be a ^. I'm sure NJ would handle the cost of a lost license + name change as just being a whole new license.

Geez... the Pacific Northwest makes Houston look comfy. 103°F in SEA! Hottest it has ever been in SEA. I understand most people do NOT have A/C up there. I can't imagine what they're going through. As of this hour it's 98°F! YVR was 107°F! PDX was 106°F. Wow! I guess that's the good thing about the south/southwest - A/C everywhere you go - even at home.^

Most of the people I know in SEA and YVR poo-pooed AC until this year. Now they can't get enough of it.
