A big fat :td: to the gate agent who said he put me on the 7am to SFO and never did. So, by the time the red coat got to it, all they had was the 11am. :mad::mad::mad::mad: Apparently EWR-SFO is badly oversold lately. The 8:50pm flight was over 12 and they used at least 8 vols. They also had to force seats open on the 7am and 8:40am tomorrow so i'm pretty sure those are oversold as well. |

We disagree on many things, but keep the box civil and in most cases off OMNI topics, as we don't want the thread to get moved. the box covers copious amounts of flying discussion, latest trip reports, basically live blogging of life, poop, aeroporn (airplane pics of our recent trip, sometimes other pics), links to todays news and events, etc. We also have a rather sarcastic take on life and events, especially the :rolleyes::rolleyes: events in the CO, DL, and UA forums. |

Good night, Box.
After I left last night, my trip got a little more :rolleyes:. Got on the plane around 10:40. We had ground crew assisting with gate-checked bags (ERJ-145). After we all got on, the pilot came on the intercom and said that they were all ready to go, but that the ground crew had left for shift change. So, we sat another 20 minutes waiting for the next crew to come out. I <3 sandbaggers. :rolleyes: The ^ part of the trip was that I was able to reach a real person at the National counter in SGF on the phone while I was waiting at ORD, and he actually stayed around 1.5 hours past normal closing to get me my car. A nice note to National will be dispatched on his behalf. :-: |
