Question is how accurate those rumors are. Would be nice, of course, but will it happen? For my money, I don't think it's Branson's style and if it does happen he will be forced into it by SQ, despite that they are the minority owner.

:

SQ has been trying to get rid of their share for a while.
Also if the BD frequent flyer program goes away, I would much rather take LH M&M over VS Flying , LH has better earning potential on QUPS and C,F

SRV Live at the Montreux Jazz Festival is a two concert DVD set that is pretty awesome. The first show is from 1982 before he and Double Trouble were well known. The crowd is completely not into it and rather mean to him throughout the show. The second show is at the same festival but in 1985 after he was well known and the crowed loved him and couldn't get enough.

Funny thing was, he played the same way (with 100% intensity) at both shows, not giving a damn about what the crowd was saying at the 1982 show. It is really amazing stuff, and the 1982 show is where David Bowie saw him and gave him his chance to become really famous.

Nope. Do Multi-City. Give it some segment help, like

MSP-CLT
CLT-DFW
DFW-GEG
GEG-CLT
CLT-MSP

First (Lowest Available), Max 2 Stops, Include :-:A Carriers, and Search by Price. You should get lots of options.

I just booked another for 10/31-11/1

MSP-CLT-DEN-GEG-SFO-PHX-ORD-MSP

Once I finish with the FLL-PDX run, and these three, I will have over 100K back in my BD account. Then I think I'll throw in one of the SLC-SJU fares at 625% for some real fun.

Love ya, US/UA :D

I hadn't thought of that, so I will check. BTW, WN is still at CLE and enjoying being the bee in CO's bonnet. Frontier and Airtran are CAKers, with the later doing pretty well from what I understand.

sbm12, what is the lowest fare you have found NYC-MSP for positioning?

Trust me, it is worth the weight.

Agree on all counts.

Nice. Montreux should make a nice addition to Eagles Live 1994 and my copy of Rattle and Hum.

Book now and worry about positioning flights later. These fares are fully refundable. :-:

Cool. Are you doing it so that you leave on a Friday night, overnight somewhere like CLT, then head to GEG on Saturday and do a same day turn there, then overnight until the final leg to MSP?

Haven't even looked yet. I'll probably go from JFK where NW matches SY's fares (or used to anyways).

Also, I'm a bit confused. What is the -UP supposed to be pricing at?

Never mind re the fare...I'm seeing them on ITA. Couldn't match one of Fozz's itins earlier and got  out of the deal.

MSP on Friday Night, Overnight... MSP-GEG on Saturday, Overnight GEG... GEG-MSP on Sunday, Overnight MSP... back to IAH on the CO ERJ that gets in at 09:30am (will just suck it up and make-up the missed 01:30 of work over the course of the week).

I'm going to milk some MSP SPG properties for the latest bonus offer, and add a few more HHonors Stays in GEG over the course of these runs.
