Yeah, but it's pretty par for the course as far as Google's data collection history is concerned. I used GMM and enjoyed it for the time I had that phone, and don't really have a problem with it transmitting basic unidentifiable data back to the mothership, provided it is truly unidentifiable by anyone anywhere in the data chain. The arterial traffic reports have been showing up in Austin for the past couple of months and I've found them pretty helpful in most cases.

I could it see it being really helpful in Austin where sometimes the side streets are faster than trying to use the highways.

In Houston, it has its uses, but the suburbs is where I see it really making a difference.

It's better than the one I got a few weeks ago.

It's not that big of a deal having been there. It's interesting, but it gets old very quickly.

+1. AVN is way too much sensory overload. The best part was just being in casino and actually seeing something just about every time you looked up. But being in the exhibit hall was another experience.

Only city where I refuse to drive, in fact.

The only city I have refused to drive in thus far is Central London. SF, NYC, LA, CHI are all pretty easy in the grander scale of things. Parking though is another issue.

I've never flown the ATR-72. I'd be willing to put up with that stuff just once, for getting a flight in on that type. I've never flown Eagle either, so it would be a new airline as well.

I managed to get one of those a long time ago on COEx when they were flying PHL-EWR. Nothing special to write home about.

I just bought three MRs on UA for 60k BD miles. Total cost? <$500

I'm fighting off the urge to book a fourth.

I had an encounter with a lady in a bikini and a mailman on my driving test. (Who among you can say that?) Also, the guy giving the test said, "This would be an appropriate time to use the horn." So I did.

Oh, and I passed.

Interesting. This is a classic case of why having a S/O in teh box is a good thing. I learned something new today. Were you to use the horn because the lady in a bikini and the mailman were doing something inappropriate? ;)

+ 1. How the heck does one shift using your left hand?

He's a leftie so I'm hoping that helps but I would greatly appreciate lots of good thoughts, prayers, rain dances, whatever, for Plus1 and his passenger (who will have been fortunately been drinking on the flights over and popping a xanax and putting the eye mask on before getting in the car so as to not backseat drive which happens to be Plus1's biggest pet peeve).

Sorry to hear about your father. Baby is doing much better. We didn't have to give her any Tylenol. Her appetite is not what it used to be, but that is expected. Otherwise, she's back to being a happy camper.

Glad she's doing better and hope her appetite gets better soon.

My dad did not have any broken bones fortunately. I expect he'll be sore for a few days. I called last night and where was he? Back up on the ladder!!! I guess he's going for the Darwin awards this year. I told my mom she better put bubble wrap all around him.
