Are they transferable? We could, perhaps, arrange a barter of sorts. ;)

@:-)I could put one of them to good use in SAN on 9/5. If they are transferable (and you are willing to trade) let me know what you might want for one.

Good for you - sometimes we all need that; and after the week you've had, you deserve it!

ZFV-EWR-CLE-SDF; SDF-MEM-DCA; BWI-DTW-PIT; PIT-PHL

And in between that, I have to work in Louisville, Bethesda, and Pittsburgh. Gonna be a long week.

If it get's tough, I'll just remember what Sheryl Crow sang: "If it makes you happy, it can't be that "

You're correct. I've already been EUA'd on every 737, DC-9, E-170, and 319 segment, the other CO & NW flights are on CRJ's or ERJ's, and the US flight is paid F on a 757 for 139.60 AI

The PIT-PHL flights were all amost zeroed out and this price was still much cheaper than an earlier one on a packed single-cabin E-75. I think the flight home on Friday may be a good bump opportunity on US. ^

As a WAS native, I've been on a few of these segments. With effective MRs from BNA-PIT, I've figured out how to do five-segment same-day MRs involving MEM, DTW, and PIT while avoiding the CR2s.

And I'm sorry, when are you going? If it's race season, the horse races are fun. I've gone 2 or 3 times and it's always been a great time. I've been in the member or box seats so it's probably been a bit more fun and the food has been quite good. I've bet quite small while my hosts have bet around $100,000 hk per race, yes I found myself rather small potatoes. But fun!

Ladies market, night market, stanley market (I went once, it was fun, not sure I would go again).

Oh, and the jade market. It's a swap meet kind of thing with low-grade cheap jade items. It's on the Kowloon side, the taxi drivers will know how to get there.

Oh, on the MTR, figure out where you're going and find the right station; ie "Admiralty" AND the right exit, ie, "J2". If you're not sure of the exit, there will be a map in the station - figure out your exit before you go topside and life will be much easier.

Dinner is going to involve ground beef picked up earlier today (well part of the Angelfood standard box). Not quite certain how as of yet.

I have resolved between now and my birthday, I'm only allowed to go to the grocery store for:

A. gift cards,
B. lettuce,
C. tomatoes

I should run out of mussels around Wednesday.

I've only got one CR2 in the mix but I had to book according to my work schedule.....not exactly a mileage/segment run :( At least that flight is pretty empty according to the seat map and I got the exit row (even though I don't think there's more room in that row on the CRJ's). I still may luck out with an empty next to me. I also get to walk through that really cool tunnel in DTW (possibly for the last time).

I don't see myself connecting through DTW, MEM, or MSP any more after 9/24. I barely ever flew DL before because of no EUA's and no EQP but NW was almost a guaranteed seat up front (albeit on an ancient plane most of the time) and DTW is one of my fav domestic airports (they've got a decent sushi bar and nice WorldClubs). Oh well

Welcome to the USA. Now if you mentioned mouse land or mouse world then you would have a long conversation.

The seizure inducing tunnel designed by a hippie? ;)

The Popeye's (A60) should be open now as well. ;)

About a year ago I was in IAH with a child wanting fast food. Popeyes was out of chicken, the pizza place had no pizza and the King was out of fries.

Yikes.

Anybody eat at the wine bar by the Spirit of the Horse? I give it a ^.

Once again my corporate travel agent is really saving us money:

Continental.com: Around $700 for ATL-IAH-MSY, MSY-IAH-EWR, first segment books into A

Travel Agent: Sorry, ssullivan, we can't find that fare. Those exact same flights on that same date are only available for around $975. Me: Can you look at the airline's website? Them: Yes, but our system shows everything they offer. Me: Well it's not showing you this fare. Them: Your corporate policy disallows booking directly into first class. Me: Well, it is the cheapest option. I'll call you back later.
