Anyone know of a good hockey messageboard that isn't filled with rumors and utter crap? I really, really need to blow off some steam with regard to the Devils' near-complete inaction in free agency.

i'm interested in the SPG card as well. With all the ways to redeem, it seems a no-brainer.

There is a  here that is sitting up in a chair, wearing a hoodie with the hood up and a eye mask down over her eyes. Oh yeah, she's also talking on the phone (very loudly) while doing this.

ETA: She just put her nasty feet up on the arm of the chair as well.

Congratulations! I am envious on your move to SEA. The wife and I want to move there. If you could afford it, I would live near Green Lake Park. However, since you can't, I don't know where you could move to for $500/month.

Yea it is expensive. Try the penisula!

Did you try Mountain of the Gods Resort? I believe it is in the area.

We are now sitting in the PClub with 2 $400 vouchers in hand. ^

Very nice indeed.

I was visiting a friend in Sequim, WA outside fo Seattle and she made us dinner and we stayed overnight and then upon leaving, handed my friend and I $64 vouchers she got from CO saying that they would never use them! :)

Of course the bump for $250 we missed into SEA on the out bound was missed. :( Perhaps next time!

I'm in Venice. It's hot. I saw Andrea Bocelli at the Piazza San Marco the other night.

I've wandered the art festival.. and while some was interesting, the vast majority was  that any Boxer would be proud of.

Russia and Chile had the best showings, and though there is a lot of hype about the USA's plastic heads and how to skin a fox showing, I didn't find it terribly interesting. Canada's was complete crap but not blatantly cheap - some others were just cheap. China wins the "what were you thinking?" award and the UAE's presentation was more like a sales pitch for their hotel industry with a weird coutroom battle theme and a vow that they would return in 2011 (hopefully with some real art). The Swiss and Israel offerings were dull, while Brazil hurt my eyes. The nordic countries had a homicidal homoerotic motif and Germany had several rooms with a never ending Ikea Cabinet setup and a single cat sitting atop it at the end that apparently steals children's breaths. I referred to the Romania pavilion openly as "hell" when describing it to others due to the maze-like setup, oppressive heat, boring videos, and general stench. Egypt's smelled so bad that I couldn't be in it for more then a few seconds.

You should drink a bellini.

They were bumped on their way to Vegas () and it sounded like they managed to talk their way in to the PClub.

Apparently, the area I live in is bucking the recession... according to the local yokel newspaper. I do believe 'em, but if you want to live in this area, don't have kids. It's for singles and couples who are without children... or at least those with toddlers and infants. When we go to the park nearby - filled with homeless people - we do see other parents and nannies with toddlers and infants. The schools in the area are , so I doubt any kid of school age lives in this area. If they did, they would go to private school.

I was disappointed that I flew a couple days too early to get a copy. :-:

Thanks! Inn on the Alameda — I was actually trying to think of that place's name. I've stayed there before, many, many years ago when I was a kid.

I'm just about to give up earning points for those two nights, as the only thing that really appeals to me is the new Hilton resort about 15 miles out of town, but honestly, we'd rather stay downtown, in the Plaza area. I looked at the El Dorado but not sure we want to shell out $800 for lodging for the two nights.

I'm looking forward to picking one up on Monday. And renewing my PC membership, which expired on June 30. I was going to renew it last week at the ATL club, but then my work trip was canceled and I couldn't manage to drag myself to endure dealing with Hartsfield-Jackson on a day where I wasn't flying out of this joint. So I'll do it Monday.
