You tell TheCanuck in advance?

I don't, it's usually a surprise.

This brings up an interesting question - is hotel hopping on a honeymoon a bad idea? :D

(No, I didn't even consider it...)

The SQ lounge in SFO is nice, but nothing too fabulous. But it sure beats the RCC.

It is also only open for a couple hours in the afternoon and a couple at night. I found that out the hard way when I wandered over to steal some of their WiFi on my TPA-ONT run. When they saw me camped out sitting in the hall they unlocked the door and insisted that I come inside.

Congrats on 2K, sfogate!!

I would consider it if you were going to be in a place for more than 5 days and there are 2 great properties you wanted stay at.

I'd have to agree. That sounds spectacular.

He's become our long lost friend!

No kidding. Hopefully he's too busy to post...I'd like to reach that point sooner rather than later myself.

This is because one SQ flight departs around 2pm and the other at 1AM or something like that.

Indeed you did. He must think FlyerTalkers are really stupid...if someone hangs out on multiple message boards, it only takes a small bit of info to cross-check and verify their identity. And now we also know that Capt. Pierce really doesn't have a ton of control over his subordinate union-side pilots. And now we know for sure that CCP is posting his own writing/editing, so he is either that militant or he condones that degree of militantcy. What he apparently does not condone is professionalism and reasonable debate.

So his name is Jayson and he works awfully hard at being an elected union rep:

I average 12 - 18 hours a day of work for our union 7 days a week running an LEC with over 2300 pilots, one of the largest within ALPA, while still flying a full line of time (except for MEC meetings).
Not for nothing, but if he's averaging 12 hours on union stuff when is he actually flying the plane?? :p
