How is baby photog72 feeling today?

My dad fell off a ladder last night. Rather than going to the ER (as he should have), he's going to Dr. today. Fortunately, he did not hit his head and only his back and side :( Here's hoping he's okay. And hopefully this is not a look at what healthcare could look like; but the last time, my mom made his appt and it was written on there WIFE THOUGHT HE NEEDED TO SEE DR. Medicare denied the claim.:rolleyes: Obviously dad made the appt. today. I told mom she needed to write the Dr. and his office should reimburse her due to their idiocy!

Work has been completely  today. For lunch I'm going to go get a pedicure at the place that serves champagne. Hoping for a brighter afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your father. Baby is doing much better. We didn't have to give her any Tylenol. Her appetite is not what it used to be, but that is expected. Otherwise, she's back to being a happy camper.

Boston is one city where I wouldn't attempt driving as a visitor without a GPS navigation unit. We had one when we were there a few weeks ago and wouldn't have made it on our short jaunt into the central part of the city without it.

My GPS in Boston is my wife. She knows the city well, as she grew up in and around the city and 'burbs.

For me driving in Philly is fun. Then again, I know the streets like the back of my hand, having driven them every day for 5 years in a row. I actually liked driving in NYC. It was fun to race cabs from stop light to stop light knowing I wouldn't be cut off by them (in my Subaru WRX).

As for driving in Miami. Blah... easy to drive there. All the roads go east/west and north/south. Hard to get lost. The drivers there are horrible, but I can find plenty here in Houston as well. Turn signals are rarely used in south Florida. I've driven in TLV, and that was not fun. Talk about crazy. Driving there in an underpowered car felt suicidal. I wish I had the money to temporarily import my car there for a couple weeks. The extra power was needed to pass on some 2 lane roads.

My wife hit the invitation jackpot today. She has no elite status anywhere. Yet she receives a :-:wood Gold card in the mail, courtesy of CO.

Then, she gets a Mileathon invite as well. WTH?

that is exactly what I meant.

i wans't talking about getting lost, I was talking about the asylum bound drivers.
a city that is designed all wrong and made for getting lost, is Hialeah, FL, or Waco, TX :D

New line, new dot, sure why not.

Buddy Holly Story was excellent. Great show. I'd like to try to see it again before the run ends.

Recall the only way to get there on CO, AA, DL is via 145 or CRJ. SWA does 737.

PHL-Hobby-LBB sounds good. Two new lines and dots then, and a new carrier. ^ I could see doing that for an overnight just for poops and giggles.

Indeed, but I figured a three year window was a wide enough berth to make the sarcasm work. :)

These two guys were a real loss to the music world.

If you ever find yourself in SAN, check out Croce's Restaurant, owned and operated by Jim Croce's wife. The food is wonderful.

Morning, Box.
