Probably a lot of "how to get the right angles" and "how to make your subject C*M harder longer.."

Never seen the show itself but can see that. Sometimes the Drama Queens are fun!

Well done! We need more people like you and me. I also helped the economy in Texas yesterday. I spent a very pleasant afternoon at The Quarry shopping mall. Lovely!

The Quarry is a great place. You should try out the wine bar there. Food is great, airplanes above, and alcohol in the glass.

So do I. That's why I'm listed as Staff and not Faculty at RU. Well that and the lack of a Ph.D. and a full time status and.........

That is the best top of job to have. One with all the protections od state work but without the research!!!

How about let's not and say we did. :)

Ah, but what you don't understand is that if the IT guys hadn't spent lots of time and effort prior to Y2K making sure those coffee makers and toasters didn't rise up and attack, we would all be in a right old pickle, going wobbly-bonkers all over the place.

Let's give a hand for those IT guys - they kept us flying!

At $180k, I'm actually also fairly high in the listing of external grants awarded.

The movie or the soundtrack? I've never seen the movie all the way through but I love the music.
Yeah, I agree. I also figured that I had enough vodka in my system to kill anything I might encounter as long as I didn't touch anything with actual bare skin. I seem to have survived 2 hours so far, so the night is looking up.

G'night. Time to sleep off this drunk.

I have done both but listen to the soundtrack a lot!

OH... does that mean problems for you? Hope all goes well. Well I could live in the burbs.

More like "why you must constantly moan loadly when there's no reason to moan."

Virtually none of the pay is a bit of a down side. :td:

I have some drama queens friends also and yeah they are a hoot to be around, but this guy is a total tool! I don't know how he has not had his a$$ kicked yet.

Until HR gets the salary figure and I get a signed contract, there will be no effort to replace me (despite the impending start of the next rotation).

Managed to get several really nice gifts for LittleMissBrit's upcoming 8th birthday. MissTeenBrit will be 17 on Sept. 23rd and is fully expecting to receive a gift wrapped car. ROFLMAO - not a chance! She can barely be trusted to brush her teeth in the morning, let alone be given command of a lethal weapon. :D

I just cannot get into House. I think it is because Hugh Laurie plays such a different role than I am used to seeing him play. I remember him from Black Adder, and the Fry and Laurie Show and all of those hilarious comedies in the 90's in the UK. He is such a funny guy, that I just cannot take him seriously in House.

Plus his version of the American accent really grates on me.

Other than that, I really like him :D

My best friend is gifting her daughter with a new car this weekend for her daughters sweet 16. Plus1 sent teen safety tips from autoweek.com last night to go along with that as one of her friends was just killed last weekend :( by a 17 year old.

I can take Hugh Laurie as both a Brit and with his American accent (which I think does rather well). I have to say if I had a dr like him, I'd go running the other way, but I absolutely love the show and can watch episodes over and over. And although I shouldn't, BL JR loves House and I will occasionaly let her watch an episode if it's not too bad.

What kinda bags were you peddling to that group? I always liked when that show was in town as the hospitality program I was working at got the remainders of the party bottles. :D

I don't remember exactly. It was a few years ago. I had a sales rep who was an A+ alcoholic and would leave every 15 mins or so to go try the latest sample. He was a big help. It was not a very productive trade show after 1 p.m. or so.

All this House talk reminds me I have to find the building they show as the hospital on PU's campus.

I do bowl but I would starve if I were a professional (generally about fourth in average in the purely recreational league).
