"Dancing to me is like standing still, only faster."

He really was brilliant in many, many ways. Not so much anymore (he rarely speaks in public) but whatever.

Soundtrack for the train ride was mostly Van Halen, with a bit of "More for Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion" thrown it to fully represent the 80s. Ahhhhh...

Romy and Michelle's High Scholl Reunion is so good!!

Jrzyshawn, I heart my 8830...a camera would be nice, but I can wait to upgrade...I don't come due for about another 19 months, but at that point I will go to whatever the Tour equivalent/successor is at that point.

I am anti apple and BB. I would rather have a Windows Mobile pda. I tried the Samsung Onmia, but that did not work out. I need a full keyboard with a touchscreen. An all touchscreen phone was  for me.

10k about bloody time.

The airspeed velocity of an unladen European Swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

Congrats.

Teh G1 is for you then, im pretty happy with it, even though it is on the bulky side, you would have to ditch the network though :-:

Well done! We need more people like you and me. I also helped the economy in Texas yesterday. I spent a very pleasant afternoon at The Quarry shopping mall. Lovely!

Managed to get several really nice gifts for LittleMissBrit's upcoming 8th birthday. MissTeenBrit will be 17 on Sept. 23rd and is fully expecting to receive a gift wrapped car. ROFLMAO - not a chance! She can barely be trusted to brush her teeth in the morning, let alone be given command of a lethal weapon. :D

I just cannot get into House. I think it is because Hugh Laurie plays such a different role than I am used to seeing him play. I remember him from Black Adder, and the Fry and Laurie Show and all of those hilarious comedies in the 90's in the UK. He is such a funny guy, that I just cannot take him seriously in House.

Plus his version of the American accent really grates on me.

Other than that, I really like him :D

Mostly Russian immigrants working in a relatively sketchy environment. But now I've seen it and I never have to return. Notch up another "done that" for me.

I think I need a shower now. This place is disgusting.

That place looks like such a dive from the outside I'm afraid of catching something if I walk to near the place.

So do I. That's why I'm listed as Staff and not Faculty at RU. Well that and the lack of a Ph.D. and a full time status and.........

I flew SYD-LAX-LAS a few years ago , and when I checked in to the hotel , the front desk asked me if I was there for "the conference".

I'm told I should hear something by the end of the week, which should cover the span of time between the end of the week and the end of Mayan calendar.:p

Doesn't the Mayan calendar end relatively soon? Like 2012?

I think we totally agree on what we don't like (Apple/BB). I have the Samsung Ace on Sprint (same phone as the Blackjack on ATT) and it's very good. It could be a little faster and have a little more internal memory but overall it does it's job. With the upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1, it has full integrated GPS and Windows document editing. Also, my slingbox runs very well on it and it's tri-band (CDMA, TDMA, GSM) so you can use it worldwide.

With my $99 unlimited plan, I get everything (text, data, e-mail, roaming, voice, etc.) for $99....it's one of the best deals out there. ^
