In my book any city city under sea level shouldn't exist, so I don't really feel bad for you. :D

could be worse you could be in the festering pit.

I AM in teh Festering Pit. I was bemoaning the fact that MSY was getting the good weather. The heat index here is 99, and it feels like you are walking through soup when you step outside. :-:

Heh welcome to august in the pit. It is sunny skys and 70 degrees here in SEA. :D

Sounds pretty par to me. Which is sad. :(

AUS is even worse than IAH, weather-wise. The coolness of AUS itself more than makes up for it, though...

So far, that is a back up plan. If four degrees don't make me marketable now, I don't hold much hope that a fifth will make too much of a difference.

Four Degrees are close to making one unmarkable. Makes it look like a career student. At least that is what I keep getting.

I don't know, I haven't really experienced that. When I go visit my family down in Brazoria County, it is always much, much worse down there than it is up here. Sure, we may hit 102 instead of 99, but the humidity has been much lower up here than it usually is in Houston. I haven't wanted to kill myself more than three or four times this summer. It was almost daily when I lived in Houston.

Well, I have been working full-time for most of those (with the exception of the ones in EDI, due to student-visa restrictions on employment). I'd just like to see the degrees start paying dividends...

L fares to UIO are $851 near Turkey day...

I think CO just jacks up all the fares around Thanksgiving, right up until the point where they realize no one is buying their outrageously priced tickets.

I haven't seen anything cheap to UIO on CO in a long time. The last decent fare I recall seeing was about $450a/i over a year ago. I really want to go.

It absolutely astounds me (just by looking at the aircraft) that anything designed by the Soviets can actually fly. :-:
