Did ya'll know the basic maintenance manual for a 707 is about 5 bankers box long.

Well, baby photog72 does have an ear infection in her right ear. Poor thing. I'm glad my wife cancelled her trip to BOS. We do have a note from the doctor that flying was not advisable. I guess a call to CO is in order and see what happens from there. I'll be happy to hand the note to Smith St. HQ in person.

As for the wx in teh festering pit... well, all the forecasts were wrong. It's still festering here.

Odds that Saha Air has a complete set, accurately translated into Farsi, for the use of its maintenance techs?

Stupid Box question for teh day. Are there occasions where lower booking fare buckets cost more than higher ones? Looking for a ticket to LGA and just for grins checked M and B fares. Both way more than I'm willing to pay (800+ ) but the M fare was about $60 more than the B fare. Thought it was odd but hey... I will pull out the not too bright card.

So thinking of hotel hopping while near the Opryland area. Choice of Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Place and Hampton Inn all around the Factory Stores of America area. Any of these I should avoid?

If you have a car, you're also close to the airport (if you want to hop within a single chain). Of the five Hyatt Places within 20 miles of BNA, Opryland is the only one I haven't MR'ed to (has never been the lowest rate).

At least you are staying clear of Opryland Hotel. I think they charge you for each breath you take.

I've heard that complaint often. ;)

Ear infections in little ones are awful; you just never know when they have it! The books say they tug; never saw it once. Hope she's feeling better soon (and you don't have to pay change fees!).

There are loads of times where discount F is cheaper than some Y/B/M fares, but it is pretty odd what you are talking about.

You forgot to mention Sister Gretna's stint as a swimwear model. They tried to keep it quiet, as evidenced by this grainy pen-cam shot smuggled out in 1972.

On my trip to KOA, I actually got a B fare to come up cheapest of all fare classes. Of course I immediately booked and used a mileage upgrade.
