I was worried that this might be happening. Based on my experience trying to book a ticket on them last week, I see that this IS NOT POSSIBLE.

I can't believe I'm flying them tomorrow. :mad::mad::mad::rolleyes::mad:

Afternoon (EDT) Box

When CO changes a schedule and makes a negative connection, is there any way to change it on CO.com without accepting the schedule change first, thereby waiving, rescinding, forfeiting, and abrogating all rights to actually change or refund the itinerary for free?

Every time I look or try to do something, it wants me to accept the schedule change and I'm afraid to hit the little button. Does this situation require a phone call?

BCN is suppossed to get more traffic with their airport upgrades so that would be a great fit.

I'm giving US the forced benefit of the doubt for my Christmas trip. I cancelled the unreasonably changed CO itinerary (after the agent tried to put me on a connection to a train) and ended up with PHL-FLL/PBI-PHL. My desire to work in a CLT stop for the lines and dots was met with Is Not Possible due to airport transit issues (read: no one was willing to wake up that early on Christmas morning to take me to FLL) and so I settle for the new line of PBI-PHL.

They have yet to screw me like they did you, and given my frequency of air travel compared to yours, I'm willing to bet that such a screwing will likely not happen to me. Plus, with the idea being that I will be making a living out near Fianceeland, it's really hard to sell EWR to the other half, as she doesn't care about this stuff nearly as much as I do.

Hitting the button forfeits your right to argue the change. Call and complain.

CO is very good about logging all changes to your itinerary. You shouldn't have a problem canceling, or changing further based on the change. I've been auto-rebooked without my knowledge / consent with less than optimal changes (e.g. flying me back to EWR instead of LGA when my car is at LGA) and CO is good about making further changes with minimal fuss.

With that being said -- I'd just call them.

Steph3n Oct 12, 2009 10:15 am

my itins showed schedule changed for the 'plane change' issue...

Something else I didn't consider: ATH/IST. TK only goes to ORD and JFK, and with A3 coming on board next year, ATH makes good sense too.

I figured as much. Thanks.

What's stupid is that when you hit the change flights button, you have to accept the new is not possible without time travel itinerary before changing the flight.

You're much better off on the non-stop during the holidays. :-:

Two words: Christmas. Meltdown.
