FYI - For HHonors Double-Dippers out there. BA and HHonors have a promo now for triple miles. 1,500 BA miles for stays at any Hilton-Family property between October 1 (I think) and December 31. ^

Not bad at all, but I'll still take my BD miles. And BD finally got those posted and caught me up, just when I was on the verge of e-mailing them to find out where those 20,000 miles were.

I decided to get HHonors Gold back. Between this and the 25K for 4-Stays HHonors Promo, I'll earn about 75,000 HHonors points and 18,000 BA Miles. :D

My sister once worked for the Texas State Government. The amount of State and Federal holidays she got was positively ridiculous. Compared to other states, Texas has a lot of State Holidays.

Not long at all. Less than a month. I think I only got 22,500 rather than the 25K I was signed up for but I'm not going to split hairs with them. I'm letting it go and fighting with BA instead.

The RCC prices were just raised last year amongst a lot of uproar, so they likely saw fallout and are thus dropping prices again.

Oh, and I left off state longevity pay — eligible full-time employees receive an additional $20/month in pay for every 2 years of service, starting at their second anniversary. That maxes out at $420/month once you hit 42 years.

And their insurance is good, and cheap. Coverage for the employee is paid for 100% by the state, and for spouses and kids, the state subsidizes a chunk of it. A single employee pays nothing for health or dental insurance.

IAD-CAI, might be one, perhaps (no competition, as MS only does CAI-JFK). Also, maybe they'll try sending something to CPT from IAD (as SA only goes to JNB).
