There are even some hub-hub flights mixed in with decent VDB opportunities.

Yes, but that fare isn't around anymore. Also, given that the inflationary pressure on SkyMiles must closely resemble that of $ZWD, I would be concerned that a simple BNA-ATL in Y might go for about 150,000mi in the near future.

734s on the flights to/from MIA, 320s to/from PDX, and 321s on intra-hub.

That sounds very tempting, actually. Although not as good as UA F, US F is fine for a one-off BD mileage run at that earnings rate. It's a bit better if you end up on an aircraft with reconditioned F seats.

If it extends into December I'll be all over it. I'm going to FLL for a wedding anyways. And seeing that the 321s are on the intra-hub flights isn't so bad. I like those birds in F, actually.
