There are no PDX-LAS nonstops on US. However, you can do PDX-PHX-LAS-FLL, if you like.

Link to US Dom F meal options.

Some of my trivia questions were regarded as "too difficult" by the guy who (without anyone's approval) at the last trivia event inserted a crapload of hints and multiple choice lines. This is also the same guy who is the former question writer, and is probably smarting over the people at that event saying that they liked my questions much better than his.

Ok, here's the thing. You have to expect plastic (and I suspect some folks here don't mind plastic ;) ). Once you get over that, you will realize that the plastic cups US airways gives are bigger than UA F tumbler. Hence, you will not have to call the FA for refills constantly. And, US FAs are pretty good about refills.

Predeparture drink, UA serves only water or OJ () but US does a bev of your choice (Nothing new since CO does the same). If you ask for water (I always do), they give you a large bottle for you to keep. I like that a lot.

For meals, I think US Airways' portions are bigger with better quality. Again, once you get past plastic, you will realize it's not too bad.

Then, they have those snack basket with lots of goodies (biscoff and my favorite nut mix with cranberry) to fill you up during the flight where as UA has nothing  unless you are willing to pay for the snackboxes.

US Airways FAs are generally better than UA.

So yea. US is not bad except for the sh*tty seats they have on the 752 where row 1 can literally recline into your face . I can deal with the 734, despite the ooooolllld planes.

:D

Yes, I've experienced the US F plastic assault. If you can accept drinking wine out of a giant platic cup, it really isn't bad.

That wouldn't be bad.

She'll even cry while in her room. As soon as I take her to our room, she stops crying. By that time, she is wide awake and Mrs. photog72 and I just want to sleep. Argh!

I miss those XOXO bars. I was addicted to those. The Biscoffs were my 2nd favorite snack on US. Everything you said about US, was spot on.^ Just as long as you don't connect in PHL, you're golden. I was O&D at PHL, so connections never bothered me.

Oddly enough, I have no problem with that. Heck, I'd drink wine from my Camelbak if I had to.:p

That's how it starts. When our daughter climbed out of her crib at 9 months and crawled to our bedroom (on the other side of the house) I knew we were in trouble. We bought her a junior bed-she hated it and never slept in it. Then we were advised to place a mat on the floor, lie down with her and leave when she fell asleep. So this became my husband's job....once he fell asleep our darling daughter would crawl out of her room looking for me! At this point I just decided that most of the world slept with their kids and I wasn't going to fight it anymore and she moved into our bed. Sleep was much more important than separate rooms. :D
