Tomorrow we'll get a note from the pediatrician and then call CO and see if it works. My wife thinks she has an ear infection, which would make it VERY uncomfortable for flying and leave other pax tearing their ears out (from her crying).

We're also doing some homemade queso dip to go with blue corn tortilla chips, provided my partner stops snacking on the chips early. ;) Yesterday we made our first trip to the fabulous farmer's market that's near where we live, and I discovered a nice selection of Mexican cheeses. So we picked up a couple to use tonight. I was amazed at the selection in this place, and it's only about a 10 minute drive from where we live. The entire time we kept saying "Why haven't we been here in the year we've lived so close before now?"

I'm sure I'm missing a huge amount too. Apparently I hadn't really done this since last November. :eek: I figured it's a productive use of my time home right now.

Always a good use of time. Largely due to Flyertalk, that figure is approximately 10 days' worth of "miles/points" given my average accrual rate over the last year.

Award charts are pretty cleared out for second half of December already. First half is still pretty easy.

Stanley was fine, but the market was just another tchotcke shopping experience, not what I enjoy.

Fun stuff. Just had to book a flight on a DL MD-80 and the only non-middle seat available is right in the back in the row that has a lovely view of the engine. At least it's a fairly short flight — ATL-MSY. CO just wanted way too much money for my usual flights to Louisiana this time.
