It's very  for those of us that work M - F and like to be productive on the weekends.

very  in Texas some counties tried that long ago but it was more voluntary, like most here.

That's what sets Chick-fil-A apart in my mind.

I buttered many buns.

I just hate the pickle thrown in there.

The pickles are crucial! I also tend to like pickles, so I might be a tad biased.

I wouldn't say "actively," as each place is a franchise. The franchisees that I am familar with do tend to be active in their support for particular issues, however.

True. But many of the places do give Chambliss a lot of (in kind) support.

The main reason for this is PARAMUS, they are the ones that always shut down any proposals to lift the  Law.

It does not really bother me too much since I am minutes from Passaic and Hudson County which are open on Sundays.

The crack sales don't stop on Sunday. @:-)

It doesn't bother me tremendously either, seeing as I live in NY. Unfortunately we have a huge influx of Jersey-itis on Sundays, which makes the roads .

Maybe I should hang out in For Ree.

Anyone in the Box ever had Zaxby's? That's a GA thing. And good.

Crap, go to Chic-Fil-a.

I'm wondering why auto dealers are forced to close on Sundays here in TX and PA. State government against car dealerships? Here I thought TX was the land of the free market. Apparently, not when it comes to car dealers.

That isn't a law that I know of anymore, it is just tradition, and most of them will gladly meet with you if you want to look at the lot on Sunday, that was the way around the laws 15 years ago at least. It was advertised on the radio when I was a kid that with a phone call a sales rep will meet you 24/7 at the dealership at one in East Texas.

"In some cases these laws were created or retained with the support of those whom they affected, to allow them (the employees) a day off each week without fear of their competitors still being open."
