Yes, but you do get to (mostly) avoid EWR issues. I'm leaving on the last flight to FLL on Thursday and am keeping my  crossed in hopes that there's no issues.

So far, EWR has actually been very good to me this year. *knocks on wood*

I've been on the last flight down to PBI several times and if there is any sort of weather in the area, you can usually expect a taxi time of at least an hour. :( Good luck - although, like I said, EWR has been good this year so you may luck out!

Just watched Righteous Kill after DVRing it the other night. Great story, weak ending IMO.

It seems that teh baseball is the topic today...I'm a Mets fan because my grandparents were. I was a little kid during the run in '86, and I still have a copy of The Greatest Game Ever Played on my bookshelf. I follow MLB from a distance because the boredom factor is huge for me coming off watching hockey all winter. Somewhere on my list after getting a new Devils jersey is to get myself the black Met jersey.

Lately, every flight into PBI ends up circling over Port St. Lucie waiting for PBI to re-open after summer rain storms.

After Dark was the best screen saver program ever! Why isn't it still around?

My roommate and I wasted far too many hours in college playing Lunatic Fringe.

I HATE painting.

I just finished edging up the brown walls where they meet the blue walls, and doing some touch up. The end is in sight!

A friend was telling me about that. Someone said there was a traffic jam because of it.

... I like Sonic, but not that much.

Anyone in the Box ever had Zaxby's? That's a GA thing. And good.

I lucked out last year when I did this. I'm hoping that this year works out the same.

It must be because we're been seeing their commercials for years but never had them local so they're getting flooded. There's going to be one opening up in Greenbrook on Rt. 22 at some point in the future.

The traffic jams are insane we barely got in. They have cops, people with flags and a private security directing people.

YES! The flying toasters were great, as were the flying toilets, the stunt jumping guy, the lawnmower guy, and several others. I miss After Dark.

Friend of mine is the franchise holder for Sonic out my fiancee's way, like Gloucester County. I have never eaten Sonic, and I'm waiting for his first one to open to try it.

ETA: Who could forget Boris the Cat and Bad Dog???

In January 2001 (when I was leaving my start-up), my headhunter found me a job that took a few hours effort of her time. Her fee from the company was something ridiculous - the equivalent of my monthly salary. A few days later, I received a box at home with a version of every official Mets cap used in 2000 (home / away, game / batting practice, each color, etc.).

I can top that domestically with a non-published / non-purchasable connection - I took a bump off NW once and got them to route me from one hub to another via BHM.

How about DEN-MSY-PHL? No easy way to connect there.

I am a Texas Ranger fan, talk about a  club, I remember when I lived a bit closer to the metroplex our neighbor was a bank president and they bank maintained season tickets for 4, whenever they did not use them they would give them to us a week or two in advance, it was almost like having tickets ourselves :D
It was some good seating right behind the first base in the first or send row depending on year, you always got to meet players. I was probably on TV a few times catching foul balls and other things too, but I don't care to act for the camera
