I got the same offer -- it looks like it's only for CO PP MC holders.

BTW, I may have mentioned before, is it just me or have you seen an increase in the number of people trying to get into the club without a membership? I even saw a guy last night guest someone in and then try to leave immediately only to have the agent question him about his guest. The guy came back in and then left about 5 seconds later saying the guy was appling for a membership which the guy did get materials but hadnt applied on the spot. On Friday, I witnessed the agent having to forcefully ask a gentleman to leave the lobby of the E PC as he didnt have a pass and was trying to use the internet vis the chairs in the lobby.

That sort of stuff troubles me.. I'm already shy about looking like a yokel as I've just recently earned/paid my way into the club.. and now with heightened awareness and yokel-threat level mauve (a yokel could try to steal internet at any moment) i'm afraid I'll be run out.

So sorry to hear about your daughter being stuck in IAH - what a nightmare for both of you!

I'll admit there are members of my family I wouldn't mind hearing were stuck at IAH.

hit every pclub at IAH in 4 hours and they won't care anymore they will explain 'bar hopping are we' (for the fact, I hadn't had a drink at all, was looking for CO DO IV attendees)

Stupid CO dropping my seat assignments for an upcoming trip. Of course the exit row seats I wanted are gone on the flights.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :rolleyes::rolleyes:

They probably needed to give it away to Glenn Big Baby Davis

The next flight is in 4 hours and it doesn't look good.

She now knows not to be a "good little standby customer".

There are some IAH agents who are really bad about not using the microphone, especially in Terminal B. I've seen people miss flights, and then get yelled at by the gate agent, because the gate agent didn't bother to use the microphone so that people sitting more than 10 feet away could hear the announcement. In their defense, though, this seems to have improved over the last year or two; it used to happen all the time though.

I officially stopped being sympathetic to people missing their flights/connections after this last trip to HNL. Yes, I was in the mini cabin so i got off the plane quickly, but I recognized an older couple from boarding and they made it to same general gate area I did before this flight to Louisiana closed.. and i swear they were at the back of the plane.. and like 3 different pairs of able bodied young-ish folks all arrived after the door had been closed 10mins later.

They all complained about our arrival being late.. but our plane had been on the ground for like 30-40mins with the door open at that point. I had been there for some time waiting for the MCO "families with children.." to finish boarding and the old couple got there without a cart shortly after me.

Have to listen to the Podcast still. How was the rest of your trip this weekend? Hope you have better travels the rest of the week.

It was good. I never got my upgrade so I was stuck in 14A which sucked, but I survived. The gf got a comp upgrade on the way back due to an equipment swap.

Speaking of which, CO's system to reseat people during an equipment swap is broken. Instead of moving people 1:1 from a 16-seat F cabin to a 20-seat, it moved me from 1A to 2B. The person from 2B went somewhere and then 5A was magically occupied.

As much as I hate the CRs, I will say that they fixed one of my biggest beefs in the CR9. The windows are no longer at child height.

I love Project Managers who decide to schedule a meeting and let you know 20 minutes before not giving any consideration to your time.

Don't you love those people. I had someone try to do that once and at the end of the day on a Friday. My answer was no can do as I was heading to the airport to fly to LGW and they were just going to have to wait a week.

Gate Lice

(I'm surpised about all of the FT hits I had to that photo last week, talk about lurking deep in the Box to find that post)
