My IFE will either be the inside of my eyelids or my photos from BZE. I don't need their crud. :D

And AA is retiring the AB6 planes so it is nice to get one last hurrah in on it.

Here's where this would be very appropriate:

:D

I do, on the other hand, need some dirt cheap high capacity aircraft. The big gorilla decided to take over one of my hubs. Why couldn't he have picked on someone his own size? :(

I did have an particularly noteworthy Y breakfast on the AB6 out of PTY - the ingredients seemed locally catered. That's my AB6 story.

I wish I was not cooped up in here, I am about to go out, realized just now that I don't have anything but a dirty shirt to wear back, the other one was left in rush to leave. Oh well.

You mean you only own two shirts?

BTW, I have learned more from you guys in a single day than I ever thought was possible. I'm sorry to have kept monopolizing box conversation, but I REALLY REALLY appreciate all the help. Thank you so much!!

The prosecutor in municipal court is not at all likely to ask for any of that kind of stuff. Just don't mention it or make an issue of it and you should be fine. I'm not sure what you'll have to mention when you ask to change the date of the court appearance, but you'll be talking with the clerk's office then.

What he said. Traffic cases are nothing more than the prosecutor pulling your abstract so they know if you're lying about your driving history.

Boy, it really sucks when you're on the wrong end of that overcharging, doesn't it? Bad business practice comes full circle. :D

:D just to make it known, I knew of his 15% over offers and just retorting with the same. I'd lose money in the end even with 15% over as I'd have to pull them off routes to sale immediate for 8 AM days.

I had my clothes laid out for this trip and one was wrinkled BADLY to I touched it up and left it on the ironing board at home.

It's really not a big deal. The large cities have enough traffic and routes to support more than one hub airline. And you can always set up a hub at CDG, which can be very profitable even with 2 airlines there.

Hmm, it's a thought... and I'm still learning how to play this thing. I just hate this waiting, lessee, 42 more days(hours) for my new plane to deliver. /thumbtwiddle

Course when it does get here, I *could* launch nonstop service between Singapore and Kuwait City..... :D

You'd probably have been best off going with an Avro or CRJ with 24 hour deliver times at your point. My ROI on my MD-87 is going to take a while  I have 2 Airbus 320's on the way now not sure how that is going to turn out.
to illustrate the point:
29 Dash-8-300A 1 In Service €496,260 Info
N111AA Age: 0.6 Fleet: dash8 Value: €8,161,859
261 McDonnell Douglas MD-87 1 In Service €547,970 Info
N111DY Age: 0.1 Fleet: transconjet Value: €50,435,149

The stinkin Dash8 is pulling almost as much as the MD-87!!

Heh, I'm pondering whether I should go ahead and order a CR1L now, or wait another 8 hours and get that 146 instead. 50 seats and an 0.3 turn time, or 120 seats and an 0.5 turn time. Hmmmmmm.

Conversely, I already have a very high capacity route planned for my new B752 (launch customer, btw!) which should pay that off pretty fast. We shall see, I suppose.

I have the MD-87 on a high capacity route to, but once you go to more than 1 frequency it ruins it, at 3freq you make the same profits as 1!!

What page are you getting this on? I've been all over and can't find jack on value of aircraft and such.

EDIT: Never mind, just found it. DUH!
