It was from a pilot who goes into training on them next month for the new IAH Q400 base.

LBB would likely be a candidate, GRK isn't one of the first for sure :(

From my understanding it won't just be a huge 15 new planes change, but rolling changes as the deliveries come.

I don't see LBB as an immediate candidate. I could see a bunch of the smaller LA markets and TYR, but LBB has a lot of frequencies and would be a long ride in a Q400.

Funny. "that OTHER website"

They do bring up an interesting point though: if the crew boards are -ing at that union propaganda trash, it doesn't say much for the working relationships at CO.

I got a similar promo a long time ago from US. It wasn't worth it. The SPG points are worth more than 3x CO points, IMO.

Can I register for the promo and then change from CO points to SPG points, like with Marriott?

Good morning box. I did not get my upgrade (normal) on my ATL-IAH flight tonight.

I got the offer a few years ago and was able to change it to earn SPG points. I had to do it over the phone and called back a few days later to make sure my earnings preference was correct (SPG points).

Yeah, not much to note in the '80s. Just U2, The Cure, Pretenders, Bauhaus, The Clash, Social Distortion, The Pixies and I think the Talking Heads might have released a couple of songs. Nothing much memorable there.

How about the Violent Femmes in the pouring rain?

When we run drills / tabletops, we don't get the entire agency involved; in a real emergency, 98% of the people just have to do what we say. We do communicate the "expect to do X if Y happens", and have loudspeakers throughout the interior and exterior of the entire facility ("shelter in the vault", "shelter in the basement", "lock your doors", "proceed to Z") ...

Morning box. I need to get to bed earlier. Someone doesn’t want me to sleep in the morning. Early Tuesday morning my neighbor decided to use his weedwacker before going to work which he doesn’t know how to use correctly so it kept stalling. Wednesday the same neighbor decided to mow his lawn at the same time. Today the school mowed it’s lawn before school started. What gets me is this is the first time all year that they were smart enough to mow before the kids got in their way. Three days in a row being woken up by lawn equipment.

this "drill" is poorly mismanaged right from the start. it is a total embarrassment. there is no real plan, I think this was thrown together at whim. it really makes us look

We are talking NJ here, the state that ran a simulated biological attact that went so horribly wrong on the communication front  that the whole State was dead in about three days instead of containing it to small area.
