Must agree completely. Better said than done. I have an ex boyfriend who was an optomotrist in coastal SC. He loved it except he hated having sand in his car. Plus1 has said he shares this ideal way of living. I guess that means I will be living on the beach somewhere in my retirement while Plus1 is reading sandfree somewhere.

Wait, you dated before me? Just another fact I only find out because I'm here in the box.

Sand only belongs in a bunker.

What is all this talk of taking the train??? This sounds like a great opportunity to hit a few new airports and countries to me!! :)

Generally a PITA in continental Europe, especially for the shorter hops.

Sounds like married segments/journey control.

Just watched the season premiere of Burn Notice. Quite nice. I'm a fan. ^

Yeah your other flights are wide open. Your PHL-IAH flight is on the line as to whether or not it will oversell, it is however currently overbooked. :D

Most agents are willing to rebook you close to where you want to go if you volunteer. I often ask people, when we offer the next day's flight, if they would like to extend their return by one day, at no extra charge of course.

This is something I appreciated and allowed me to go to an event I would otherwise had to miss. Thank you CO!

AA explains this practice on this documentary.

I like Burn Notice when I can watch it. I like the eye candy in quite a bit of it :D

Still odd to see a flight zeroed as a connecting option as well as a non-stop option; the former is why I checked the latter, as the itinerary is still marketed.

I've seen them several times. We're big fans in this household. Psych, too. And I like Monk but the wife doesn't.

I wish I had a bump opportunity next week but with the loads on my flights I'm sure they'd would want to sub in a ERJ if it had the range.

Mackieman Jun 4, 2009 9:46 pm

I have to stay up until 1AM tonight to see if I can score a paid upgrade for my wife so she can join me in F on our 12:55AM departure from ONT tomorrow night (technical Saturday morning, I suppose). Then I can check the CO forum with baited breath to see if someone posts a, "potential upgrade shenanigii" thread.

With the 145XR they almost have transcon range......now if EMB would make a 5000 mile capable 50 seater we may see CO send them across to the UK :D

^ Looks like you have a good chance.

HIL, D. 4A
IGN, C. 2A
LAR, J. 2E
LEA, D. 1F
VAS, M. 3F
are the only ones on the upgrade list, and all upgraded none on flight standby at all

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. I've been watching this flight since last Saturday and it has gone out with at least one empty F seat every day except Monday (which I figured) and last night. We'll see what happens in a few hours when OLCI opens up.
