A discussion of AF 477 led me into conducting a scientific study around the work lunch table today by telling some of those WTC jokes I linked a few days ago. The results of the study? We fail to reject the null hypothesis that it is indeed too soon. |
Unexpected expense
Well, my garage door opener is totally shot (chain hanging down and a couple gears on the ground after a loud *BANG*. The guy came to check it out and said the reason it broke is that my pulleys, cables, and springs are all worn out making the door too 'heavy' for the mechanism and that's what broke it.
Total cost for replacing everything but the door itself: just over $1:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:! Ugh....didn't need that right now. Anyone care to chip in?? LOL |

sbm12, I was originally booked in a middle seat. I used the "oft talked about" workaround. This was the res. where it dropped my seat assignments after booking and when I realized this a few days ago, it was slim pickings. Now the person in the seat I want (most likely EUA'ed) is no longer occupado said seat, but I can't find a way (short of a friendly neighborhood CO employee helping me out) to get access to the seat for my arse. CO's inane companion system created this mess. It forced me to split the PNR. |
