Really I agree, however I did get one pic of mr teenaged wannabe LEO chatting to ya at the Wahtadouche field.

I would appreciate a framed copy of that. His manager most certainly did not wish to be involved in his vigilante  my authoritah moment...

If that's a veiled CRP reference, now I really don't wanna know.

Plus1, I saw your post in the "CO Airlines Destroyed" thread. I thought you never ventured out of the box? :p

We all saw.

It wasn't pretty. I couldn't believe I lost (even the stage ladies didn't want to put the Xs back in the bag..). But hey.. at least it wasn't a pot of cheese soup. I'll always have that. ;)

In all honesty it was a TON of fun to be up there. Regardless of loss, it was a great time.

(editing - icurhere2 - didn't you win a bunch of points? Or am I thinking of someone else?)

The audience was booing that component as well.

Off to the lovely Amtrak website...will let you and Teh Wizard know what I'm up to.

LOL. I really want to see Udvar-Hazy, but I'm 28 years old and have not been to DC since I was in 8th grade. Drinking, the Ducks, and Box fellowship is cool this time around, since I most definitely want to go for a much longer period and do a lot of museum-hopping.

If you want to burn off your PC points, that's totally your call. I promised a day trip and I'm going to keep it at that, unless I end up inebriated to the point that my scheduled train home Is Not Possible. I don't drink that hard anymore, so as long as I can stumble to Union Station I think I'll be good to go.

No problemo....I used to go to DC all the time (see flightmemory below) but I never actually did anything extracurricular down there. I guess I'll play it by ear too...we're in the same boat as far as drinking is concerned. I'm pretty much only a beer guy and I just can't put 'em down like I did in college.

We don't binge-drink, really... it's just that four bottles of 14% ABV Belgian Super-Octane tends to do odd things to the brain.

On a somewhat related note, I've just poured my nightcap for the evening... a nice glass of Dalwhinnie 15 on teh rocks...

It was fun, but also humiliating for not knowing what anything cost!:o

Plus1 made a special occasion tonight by going out of the box. He is out now.

Olton Hall Jul 30, 2009 9:38 pm

I threw my two Panmanian pennies into the destroyed luggage thread. I can totally empathize with busted luggage...been there and done that, thankfully only once. But the dude is being short and cranky and snarky with the people posting in the thread as if we all work for CO.

I was yelling and you couldn't hear me over the noise. When I realized that you couldn't hear me pointing you to the right choices, I said screw it and went back to taking pictures.
