Not bad. I scored $89 at the Westin and Sheraton Suites. @:-)

Thought about doing the new Westin FLL (on the beach) but they wanted $159 for it. Not a bad deal but more than I wanted to pay considering we're only sleeping there. Plus I'm sure there's a mandatory $908235082340824 valet charge and a $09823408234082340850832408 resort fee and a $09823408235075081208123 energy surcharge that will be levied.

We'll probably be out drinking and 'ing Saturday night in downtown FLL. Could easily be convinced to do S:rolleyes: beach.

Im really kicking myself for giving all my business to HH with the prepaid stays. I'd much rather pay another $20/night to get the free night after 2 stays with SPG. Plans are not set in stone for Saturday but I'll let you know what we plan on doing when I find out.

Not for me.

I used to stay there almost monthly and got to know the GM. I stopped staying there and moved over to the Sheraton across 95 when they started charging for parking. The GM asked why I moved over and I told him the $10 for the sake of charing me $10 was insulting. Just raise the room rate, don't bury it and make your customers resent you.

So now they comp the fee for me. @:-)

Sheraton Yankee Clipper is a bit old and tired, but has free guest parking.

I did not buy Pizza at Andiamo's Brick Oven in Miami last visit, they started a $2 per hour parking fee. So I went to publix and bought things to make my own food for a bit more, so publix had a gain and Andiamos(best pizza in Florida, no doubt!) lost out on my business.

BOOOOOO TO PARKING FEES!!!

The Hilton Lake Buena Vista has one of those too. It's awesome -- a surface lot with plenty of spaces on land the hotel controls -- just like every other suburban/office park hotel in America. So what do they do? Throw up a machine and some gates.

Yes, we'll all come. Make sure it is a late night party and someone needs to bring an old fashioned boom box that will blast raucous rock music ..... :D

Total cost for replacing everything but the door itself: just over $1:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:!

Ugh....didn't need that right now. Anyone care to chip in?? LOL

Bugger! It's never good when your balls and chains go wobbly-bonkers!!!:D
