yes it is special for colpuck, Continentanl Distressed Dummy :D

It is the special code for when colpuck was on continental and came off all distressed because his plane was early by 20 minutes.

The availability on KE seems to come and go at random. At about 6 months out, I was able to get 2 seats on JFK-ICN but only 1 on ICN-LAX. Since then, I have not seen another seat come up on JFK-ICN and I stopped watching ICN-LAX as we ended up switching to ICN-NRT-SFO on NW. I have seen a decent amount of availability on ICN-SEA and ICN-YYZ but I think KE flies their old configs to both cities.

If you're looking for more than 1 seat, it seems like you have to use NW and NRT connections in at least one direction. Although, maybe things will change around +2 weeks as CO 1E has indicated.

There is actually no "blocking", this is just what KE gives to the rest of ST.

Yeah...it is ugly. Mostly because people keep giving wrong answers to newbies. That REALLY annoys me.

Time to venture out for breakfast.

I gave an incomplete answer, only because my phone rang and I got distracted.

It is freaking annoying, but I am counting on stuff opening up closer to the trip (over labor day).

LOL. I hate it when that happens. I never used a distressed rate.

We will be fine if we do not travel together. I do, however, prefer an east coast entry point for the TPAC segment and I am sure I will be able to do so as time passes.

+1. I'm hoping to streamline BKK-ICN-NRT-SFO-MEM-EWR () quite a bit before we leave (2 months from today!). Most of that routing would be new FM lines for me, but it's certainly taking the long way home! Even changing to BKK-NRT and SFO-EWR would be nice...

I dont know if ALCO has commented yet, but have you thought about CZ from BKK to LAX? Or NRT-SLC-NYC on DL/NW?

Good morning Box.

All of the post-WWDC coverage I'm reading makes me happy. The price drop and speed increase helped to narrow down my choice in machines, and the config I want went down about $300.

I'd like to avoid CZ. Their hard product looks fine, but I have heard their food is simply inedible. It will be interesting to see what ALCO has to say about their experience.

For the return TPAC, I'm currently keeping an eye on NRT-[SLC,MSP,DTW,ATL,JFK] and ICN-[DFW,ORD,ATL,IAD,JFK]. Finding seats in F on CO/DL/NW from any of these cities direct to EWR should not be too difficult.

Same here. I am about to buy my wife's MacBook and I'll purchase mine in a few weeks. The MacBook for her will be a huge improvement over what she is using now (a seven year old HP that doesn't hold a charge).

I wish I would have waited a few months. I would like to have FW for editing. Don't get me wrong, I love this Macbook. But, the new ones are ^!
