Myself, I want to backup to an external drive. But what I want is a disk image (that's browsable) so if/when the HD dies I can blast it out there and not have to re-install everything.

only 40? but you seem to have made a mistake too....you ordered some 40 gates at DFW airport as well and down on 35% utilization of them! You can save money next month by cleaning that up

I'd avoid iWork - it's pretty lame, IMO. Either spend the cash on MS Office, or if you're looking for a free option, check out OpenOffice or NeoOffice.

I like OpenOffice, but iWork does everything I really need it to do and I've found that I usually need to just open documents rather than edit them.

That's the secret to his ranking though... Building a Terminal allows you to own gates without having to use them, artificially raising your airline value.

How much is iWork? Does it play nice w/ MS Office docs?
Also, Macros in Excel are not the most reliable when opened using Pages. |

I'm looking forward to being done with the move next week. I already have over a billion in cash; should be more like three billion by next week. Hopefully the next year in the game will come by then so I can order the 777-200. Then I will keep more Boeing employees housed and fed. :)

I thought about dumping all my cash into terminal gates, but it didn't really seem like the thing to do in keeping with the spirit of the game.

772's can be ordered now in 1.0, not sure about 2.0. The non-ER is a rather crap choice, IMO. Way too many seats for such a short range. 440 seats for 5800-something miles. I ordered two 744's in World 1.0 last night - for a few weeks now I've wondered to where else DelNorTalia could expand, and I found a place last night.
772 is available next 'year' on AM2 |

Looked at both just now. Ehh. I write and I do slideshows and spreadsheets, so Pages, Numbers, and Keynote will probably do the job just fine for me. I need my existing stuff to be readable and any future creations or edit jobs to just behave normally.

They can? Where? I don't see them in Boeing's listings, though I may be blind and/or stupid. I was thinking about the seat versus range thing too. My trusty 767-200ER can do a longer leg with less seats leading to higher profitability. I'm just wondering how maintenance costs are affected between the two.
