Good morning box.

Today's theme:

That sea monkey stole my money!

I'm doing all my final account notices for being abroad for over a month and I was giving my statements a good scrutinization in the process. Turns out I had 2 unauthorized charges from a closed membership account on one credit card and a store charged me twice on my debit card.

Calling people, filling out forms, yadda yadda.. I didn't even realize I was missing $200

Morning, Box. Must hunt and duly kill a large coffee mug.

Morning Box.

Remember that link i posted a few days ago about the fun landing into SBH?

Yeah, I suggest always using one of the local airlines that makes the SXM-SBH run 10 times a day, rather than this little outfit out of SJU http://www.vimeo.com/4875559

ETA: apparently that crash was just this past weekend.

It's been one of those days...

A few days ago I had a tune-up done and a few other small things. I drove the car around and noticed that it was dying or coming close to it when at idle. I took it back to the place, where of course, the car did not repeat the symptoms.

Driving to work this morning it starts doing it again, but this time it's at 70mph. The tac drops to zero a few seconds after touching the gas. Then, at one point, it stays at zero for what felt like an eternity, then jumped back up to normal... Now I have to find a mechanic near where I work because I don't trust the guys I took it to before and frankly, don't think the car would make it. :td::td:

There are sometime that a caller just has no idea where they are though, and in those cases, I would enter the long and lat into google earth to determine their approximate location and then question them about their surroundings to confirm their location before sending everyone on a wild goose hunt.

E-911 isn't great in TN either - when I pulled the family out of the vehicle that had just blown by me on an icy road, I was on the Interstate in essentially the middle of nowhere. I could only provide a four-mile confidence interval ...

Scary when present, cute when not present.

If you hurt the coffee mug, drinking coffee is going to be a PITA.

Does the car lug (as if it's not running) or does the tach and other instruments (like speedometer) just drop? Has the alternator (or voltage regulator component of the alternator) been checked?

The sharing should (must) happen at Saturday's Mini-Do. :D

No alarms because there is no TSA inspection facility between Metuchen and Kendall Park.

Did you scan the anomaly with an inverse tachyon beam?
