You don't need to be. belynch built his by pulling his FFP statements...I think he went back 3 years on US and CO, and outside that window was from memory. It doesn't make for the most accurate way of doing it, but I think almost everyone's has inaccuracies of some kind. I know mine does, but it's a good faith effort at being as close as I can recall.

ETA: My "Our FM" page that covers my fiancee and I is factually perfect except for two missing tail numbers, but that's easy to say and do when the entire history is ~20 segments.

I even managed to put one together: http://my.flightmemory.com/knrg

Used email confirmations, onepass mile statements, and such.

Speaking of which, I need to get on those outside 3 year trips. I only remember the eventful ones. There's a whole load of  that belongs in there.

Aloha box. Crunch time on the project du jour. Music is being turned up. Way up.

I started flying in the early 70s as a child, so my dad and I are trying to piece together segments we took as a family.

US is launching CLT-GIG. Don't know why I find that interesting, but I do.

Does the car lug (as if it's not running) or does the tach and other instruments (like speedometer) just drop? Has the alternator (or voltage regulator component of the alternator) been checked?

It lugs like it's not running. When the tach drops it's like the car is being turned off (though the electric stuff still runs inside). Makes me think it's not the alternator.

I'm leaning towards it being a faulty wire.

Well my couple day debacle with TMo and my G1 has come to an end. After months of annoying SMS issues (replies going to unintended recipients), it started to lose signal and finally got the equivalent to a blue screen of death, even with hard reboots and every other known fix (including a quite unnecessary trip to a store for a new SIM card). As I was also annoyed with the lack of Exchange support, I asked them if I could have a BB instead of a G1 or at least apply the value.

"well sir,I can only send you the G1"

what is the cost of the new Curve?

"about $500 for an upgrade"

you are going to charge me full retail for the phone?

"that is all I can do for you sir. sorry"

please connect me with customer retention. i am not going to accept a phone that has not been dependable and does not fit my needs

"good afternoon Mr. MBM3, I understand that you are considering a cancellation of you account?"

story retold for the 10th time, with the addition that ATT is proposing an offer that makes the cancellation fee irrelevant

"oh I see that you have been a valued customer and part of our special unlimited minutes offer (~$50/month) - let me see what I can offer you"

thank you very much for the consideration

"is $250 for the new Curve interesting for you?"

Yes, that seems fair. Ship it as soon as possible

I really did like the G1 for a personal phone, which was the intent of the original purchase. As a business phone, it simply does not do much for me.

Either way, I am glad this mess is done.

No one I know who has had the G1 has liked it.

I recently got the BB8900 and I like it. The software that comes installed on it is crap. I upgraded it to a newer build and am MUCH happier. PM me for details.

Is there that much biz traffic to Brazil to justify all of this service?

Mine is 14 years old. It needs an oil change.

I don't keep old statements and many of my flights were on airlines that no longer exist (such as TW), airlines that I pretend don't exist (US, HP, WN), and/or airlines that served but then abandoned the BNA market (B6).
