Yeah, it was pretty entertaining. :p

I have this image of this woman showing off her vacation pictures and someone pointing out the nipplage- a la Seinfeld. :D

Taco Bell had that promotion then.

When I was a kid, the only fast food restaurant in my county was a Hardees / Roy Rogers / Hardees (for those who remember the buyout and multiple reformatting some stores underwent). When I was 10, the McDonalds opened - I didn't even know what a Taco Bell was until college.

Really stressed out.

Received a phone call this morning from my wife saying she was really sick and was going to go home. She told me her vision went blurry and she vomited. I told her to make a doctors appointment. She did and they have sent her to the emergency room, thinking she may have a blood clot.

Of course, I would really like to leave work right now but my car is in the shop and the guy fixing it is not giving me an estimate on time. Really frustrating. In the shape the car is in, I doubt I'd be able to make it to west Houston anyway....

Yep. The original OS that was on mine would cause my battery to last no more than 5-6 hours when fully charged. There were a number of other minor issues as well, particularly with the media player. After I upgraded the OS, problems were gone, and battery life suddenly became decent.

I was running the latest OS that T-Mobile supported. It sucked.

Thanks.

That's what I thought, but they did an EKG and sent her to the emergency room. She has been feeling strange the last couple of days but figured it was due to allergies.

4.1.1.107 here, which actually doesn't suck for an aged phone ...

Sending well wishes your way - those were the symptoms when I had an ophthamolgic (sp?) migraine.

Or Enterprise, depending upon distance.

Wishing her a very speedy recovery! Keep us posted and let us know if you need anything since we're local.

This is one case where I would go with Enterprise.

... that's saying a lot.

Hope she is ok. I had a migraine like that once, but I stopped short of vomiting. I had a two-day build up to it and almost went to the hospital, until it subsided a bit and I went to my doctor instead.

The one very bad thing about e-tkts is that you have to have the other airline give you control of their ticket and they only way they can do that is to rebook that ticket for your flight. No one was at the local UA counter so I was forced to call their reservation number.

I got India. I tried to explain to the UA res agent that they had to rebook his ticket for CO, push control of that ticket to CO and then I could accept him for travel. The UA res agent kept telling me it was CO's ticket stock. It doesn't matter who's ticket stock the ticket is issued on, what matters is who has control of that ticket. After consulting with his supervisor, UA rebooked his flights for CO, gave us control and the man is on his way to his uncle's funeral.

I have a love/hate relationship with e-tkts.

As someone on a trip currently due to a friend's father passing away I want to thank you. I ended up using my CO voucher I got a few weeks ago for this trip which makes that bump all the more worth it to be here for my best friend at this time.

I will say though after the travels of the last week I will be glad to be home for a few weeks and rest up for my NRT trip.

All the best for your wife and the car.

BTW, was in the North PC at C today at IAH and noticed that they have free vouchers for the Metro Airport Direct Bus. This may work either way, says to present voucher at the Concierge Desk at the Airport Direct Passenger Terminal or at IAH Terminal C Baggage Claim.

Yeah that's what my phone was delivered with as well.

It sucks how slow T-Mobile and the others are at rolling out an "official" release of RIM's OS.
