Unfortunately to keep the budget the days inn has to stay. I plan on wearing a raincoat and respirator that night. :D

What else am I supposed to do when it takes her over an hour to get ready to head out the door?

On a somewhat unrelated note... I think we're starting to kick the jet-lag. Woke up at 06:00 this morning instead of 03:00.

I deal with the hour delay everytime Im somewhere with the gf. Then after she is ready comes "what am I going to eat"

Where are you guys off to next (Airport) ?

About to head out the door to Namhansanseong Provincial Park (mountaintop fortress with good views of Seoul). Later today is shopping in central Seoul with a stroll by their equivalent of the San Antonio Riverwalk. No airport until late tomorrow afternoon.

Aren't you getting Mrs. ALCO used to being in one place too long? :D

Mine has a particular phenomenon that I have dubbed MRD. It is Menu Regret Disorder. Easily 90% of the time that we are out, she will see what I ordered or watch a server walk something by and say "should've ordered that".:rolleyes::rolleyes: Then why the hell didn't you????

Can't say that I will be doing that. Gave my US miles to Fisher House and felt good about it on more than a charitable level.

There's an IReport on CNN from a guy who went on holiday in N. Korea. At first, I thought maybe ALCO was posting from his honeymoon ;)

My cousin is on flight 348 to SFO , they were on the taxiway in line for takeoff and the captain returned to the gate because either him or the 1st officer was going to time out ( Cousin was not sure which one)
Continental Flight 348
Status: Delayed - Awaiting arrival of crew -- Returned to Gate in New York/Newark, NJ (EWR - Liberty)

are you working tonight ? it may be a  evening if the return flight is seriously delayed

I was planning on running some errands and stopping down at the Ikea and the outlet mall off the Turnpike near EWR and figured I can always use a free drink at the airport, but my day was consumed with trying to find a suitable care facility or assisted living facility for grandma. That task is still not finished yet.

My previous girlfriend (otherwise exceedingly overbearing, which became the long-term problem) started with MRD, then realized she always ordered wrong (and how). After a few months we got to the point where I was in charge of selecting two entrees that paired well and didn't suck to share.

Somehow, US gave me more miles - I don't know why they were in my account. Not enough to donate, I converted them into a nominal number of miles in an account I would use.

ARGH......of course I'm working tonight. This aircraft turns into CO1829, the red-eye to EWR, which is now posting a delay 3.0 hours, new etd 1:19am.

I have the most seniority tonight so I just might be able to leave on time. Since I'm flying out tomorrow for the Shogun Mini-Do, I am not going to volunteer to stay later than I have to.
