3 hours, 21 minutes to NHL free agency. In other news, 3 hours and 21 minutes until Dany Heatley is out of a job.

Who told you about the surgery?:rolleyes:

My next trip to HHH is in two weeks when I'm introducing the Canuck's family to my family. I've already made threats that if they attempt to put maple syrup on their biscuits the wedding is off.

baglady, and anyone else going to HHH -- two words: Harold's Diner. It's right off 287 near the Exxon just past stack-a-shack (4 Seasons) going away from Palmetto Dunes. Amazing.

Morning box.

New (internal) job is moving full steam ahead.

I would imagine that there is enough demand up there for him to get a job cleaning out latrines.

Any hockey coach who allows his GM to hire that guy better be independently wealthy enough to cover his own imminent unemployment.

Heatley has become the Terrell Owens of the NHL. Selfish brat-child who is a locker room cancer. He kills teammates and screws his management...yeah, sign me up to take on his bloated contract.

I know what I want the Devils to do, but Lou "Uncle Fester" Lamoriello and I sadly do not share an ESP connection.

In other news, and I never thought I'd ever say this for any reason: Good job, Rangers. It's about time you took out that bag of trash Gomez.

I assume that you are referring to the one at Shepherd and 11th Street? Even after it is expanded (and it is allegedly going to be a huge store), I think that the area is too sketchy for me to want to visit it.

Yeah, it's just too dirty for me and some of the aisles smell awful.

The one on 20th and Rutland/Yale. There has been a stabbing and a few carjackings just in the last two weeks.

Morning Box. I see no one won last night's lottery. That gives me a zillion to one chance to win Friday. (goes find magic 8 ball)

Now if I can only get this speech to work out. I think I now know why it's only a 4-6 minute one. I'll cut the rest, expand what I have and settle for the 4 minutes. It will be better speech anyway.

Hello Box.

Can't wait to  out of here tomorrow. I need a change of scenery. If tomorrow is like yesterday I won't be getting into FLL until 2AM.

Currently at the KE Prestige Lounge at ICN. The DL flight arrived 45 minutes early. I actually feel cheated out of some additional sleep time in the lie-flat suite and even missed the pre-arrival meal because I was sound asleep. I think I managed about six hours of sleep; I could have had more, but I wanted to stay up and watch movies.

The DL seat definitely is better than the VS seat because it can be adjusted into an infinite number of positions between slightly reclined and full lie-flat. You can also adjust the angle of the headrest. In addition, the seat includes a massage feature. I found the seat to be very well padded, and the duvet they provide is a bit heavy, but is very high quality and comfortable. The only issues are lack of large storage space for reading material and the like and the fact that the AVOD screen cannot be moved toward you (it stays in a fixed position after you take it out of the side wall). It can be tilted up or down, however, do ensure that you have a proper view no matter your position in the seat.

Service was efficient and polite - definitely very good, but not outstanding. No problems with AVOD. Decent red wine and ok port. They offered pre-plated cheese, crackers, grapes and strawberries for dessert, with sundaes, as well. I skipped the sundae, but it looked good.

All things considered, I would say that DL lie-flat J is the best way to go US-Asia on Skyteam in J, followed by KE C. I am even considering staying an extra day on this trip to try to get the DL lie-flat flight on the return.

ICN is an outstanding airport, with well-lit, airy concourses and floor to ceiling windows. While I have issues with the KE Prestige Lounge (always hot and humid; shower rooms too small; can get very crowded during peak times), it has one of the best views of any lounge I have ever experienced. As I type, I am watching 744's, 777's, 330's, and obscure Russian aircraft arrive and depart one after the next.

I would concur on the DL seat. I only got to enjoy it briefly on JFK-ATL, but was very impressed. I also concur re: the KE ICN lounge. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the layout and decor, but the floor-to-ceiling views to the tarmac were unmatched.

Managed to find a use for my BA miles that drained my account sufficiently to perhaps break me of my habit of crediting cheap AA flights to BA (at 125mi. per segment ). Got SCL-EZE in J on a LA A340. Biz won't be as nice as on their 763, but it should be fun to try.

Why can't CO give an explanation of schedule changes when they inform you of them on their website? Instead, they just show the new time in red.

Show me the old time as well so I don't have to go through my e-mail to find the original eTicket.
