KQ is surprising I have flown them maybe 3 times and each time the food was outstanding as was the service.

Could just be that their catering ex-BKK sucks. The meal on my NBO-JNB segment was better than what was served on BKK-NBO.

The AMEX lounge is not bad, I have used it twice and it was acceptable, the AA lounge is slightly nicer, but not by much.

Dan

Did you go before or after the refurbishment ?

I was there pre-refurbishment, I have been meaning to plan a return trip to EZE for some time now, but have been unable to find dates that work for me.

Fine, blow my theory out of the water. :D

I still can't believe I scored J reward availability on ATL-SCL. DL almost never makes standard rewards available on that flight.

I guess DL is desperate to get any revenue, even if it's from a partner airline for mileage.

Good for you. Perhaps I need to try to book a trip.

Mornin' Box. This six hour time difference is getting the best of me. I'm not supposed to be up and about at 5am!:mad:

I find it very entertaining that the NJ Attorney General's Consumer Affairs site has a big thing in the center about "Verizon FIOS complaints".

I noticed loads of NRT-ATL availability (primarily on the 744 flight), if you're looking to get to Asia.

I find it even more interesting that the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority just denied me the use of their stock video footage because it would be placed in a product for sale.

A) What the hell is that about?
B) It's now painfully clear to me why Atlantic City is always complaining about lack of business. Their own promotional arm will not help those who are looking to help it.

I actually have two Asia trips planned the next few months.

So far, the first trip is LAX-BKK-KUL-ICN-ATL-JFK and the second is LAX-SIN-KUL-SIN-NRT-ATL-JFK.

I'm still trying to think about what to do over Thanksgiving. I'm thinking an island hopping trip in the Carribean sounds good.

Please don't tell me you're even surprised by this.

There are some pretty good deals on CO over Labor Day weekend.

I'm assuming from IAH?

In other news, the delusional side of my brain says I need a vacation.

Yeah, IAH.

It looks like IAH-West Coast are all $300. Not amazing, but decent.
