ie, can a companion be added to both AUS-IAH and IAH-BOS by an agent at AUS?

I am mostly in charge of it. And I'd need an answer from a gate agent before I was willing to answer that question in a FAQ. My understanding is that it is possible but that it mean extra keystrokes so the GAs generally don't want to do it, but I am not positive on that.

It really depends on the agent. I've had some agents do it and some agents refuse it.

So, stick to the old, "If you don't like the first answer, hang up and call again" or in this case, find another agent. :)

I have been told:

1) "It is not possible -can only be done at the outbound airport for that flight."

2) "Maybe it can be done, but I'm not sure how."

3) "Not a problem, anything else I can do? Boy that PDA site sure keeps us on our toes."

Yeah, as soon as a good employment opportunity presents itself in a warmer climate... I'm done with the cold winters.

I'm a little surprised that that was only his 2nd career at bad. And, why in the world does Aceves have his own helmet?

If I do something like EWR-HNL again but on UA, would it be wise to use my MP number if I want it to credit to CO later or go w/o MP entry and add OP after 24 Oct?

I've gotten a bunch of people who were mad at me about my previous EWR-HNL trip off my back with this news. I still wonder if CO will match in the morning?

Not too shabby, particularly with the HNL-SFO-LAX-ORD-EWR routing on the return.

Oh, and Mariano Rivera might get an at bat in a couple minutes.

Mo made good contact but lined out.

Strangely, a three flight routing is better miles (and $7 less) than the 4 flight routing I was looking at:

Just use the MP number now and fix it later. As for CO matching, I highly doubt they would from EWR. Maybe from PHL like last time. UA has a 24-hour refund policy. Buy now and decide later. :D

I would use your MP number now and change it on departure. That is what I do for my BD runs.

You can always buy it now and you have 24 hours to refund if CO matches.

Hi all! Just a quick question -- is it really necessary to get to EWR 3 hrs. ahead for a 10pm flight to GRU (BF) -- or can I get there 2 hrs ahead? Since I will be able to do elite check-in -- it should, theoretically, be pretty efficient, right?!

Unless you're inter-lining bags, you don't need to get there 3 hours early.

If you're on one of Baglady's patented pan-Asian carrier routings, you might need all of that 3 hours.

Yes. No CR-1 availability on the dates I'm looking. Can those be waitlisted or do I have to track it and call in?

If it's any comfort I noticed the 5:30AM flight to IAH is shifting to 5:45AM in September.
