Thanks everyone for the kind words. I haven't heard anything officially yet so we'll see. I fired out a few resumes today that were low hanging fruit; maybe something interesting will come from it.

Continued best wishes - I was the first applicant for the position I'm trying to demote myself into.

 Easily the ugliest car on the road today. How was it to drive?

At least "ugliest car on the road sold in the USA".

Bleh. F9. DEN-MSP-DEN. Why me, Lord?

I can think of worse (e.g. a connection on US).

Just not a fan - I spent a good amount of time there last year. I suppose moreso Boulder then Denver itself, but I've been through that airport enough to know I'm not a huge fan and that I find the area "bleh" and filled with yuppies with their shiny new kayaks.

That's very much more the case with Boulder than Denver.

What an unbelievable result! I missed most of the second half playing with my daughter but was able to catch the last 10 minutes.

The ref is the same  who sent off two players for the US vs. Italy in the last world cup. At least he waited until the 86th minute to send off Bradley.

He is from Uruguay

I have definitely noticed a deterioration. I haven't seen a Volvo, Infiniti or Cadillac on an ES in a very long time and leather and/or XM is even becoming an extremely rare find.

Yea I had a Ford Explorer with the XM not activated. I tried to get it turned on but gave up.

Next you'll tell me there's a real hidden valley..

Don't Know about Hidden Valley but OSH is a huge aviation draw. The worlds largest fly-in is there. 10K to 15K small planes fly in every summer for the week. There are military and other commericail jets on display in cluding the A380 this summer! The airport tower during the week of the show is the busiest tower in the world and there is a point a couple of times a week where the tower is one way communications to the pilots with flagged personal flagging the pilots to take off. Very interesting to watch.

I want to go but can not but anything into stone as my current job is not set in stone. Once I know if I will go, I will let ya know. Be aware that the fly-in is over part of the CRP DO. I went for 15+ years as a kid and love going back to see all the planes that got me excited about aviation. If you want more information go to:

I too am looking over my shoulder and am informally interviewing for an internal change on Friday. It would be a lateral move with an upside as opposed to the current pigeon-hole I currently work in.

Ahhh, the People's Republic of Boulder. 25 square miles surrounded by reality. Gotta ignore that part of the state. The rest of it is pretty nice.

Given a choice between DEN and COS, I'd normally pick COS, but that's not always a viable option.
