And yet the humidity is only 39%, giving a heat index of around 117.

I'm really looking forward to this month's electricity bill.

If you knew what I put up with (as some in the Box do know), then you would understand why I would happily apply for a position paying $20,000 a year less.

Nice comfortable 82 here in South Florida after a ten minute thunderstorm came through. ^

Have you been to the fly-in? Is it worth battling the crowds for the pics, airplanes, etc?

Could you have told the Brits that? I had the misfortune of immigration at LGW the morning after they were knocked out and a few thousand of them arrived at once on various chartered flights. Took over 2 hours to get through and I was one of the lucky ones. The line must have been over 5 hours long by the time I got through.

Yuck! So glad I'm not in Houston right now.

LA is rather pleasant today.

That's Plan B.

Match 29 and 39 show availability. Filled out the application, but after reading their FAQ I am still not sure how the process works.

From past World Cup experience, you sign up and have to submit a credit card, if you are selected for tickets they charge you.
There are individual matches or Team Specific packages.
