Slow day in The Box. I'm guessing everyone is enjoying the nice weather.
I'm roasting in this heat we are currently having. It got to 104 in the inland areas, Napa was up to 100 and the weather outlook for tomorrow is more heat and possibly higher temps. Currently there is a nice ocean breeze so the house should cool down by bedtime, I hope.

It was 105 here in AUS so I rotted in my living room. AC was set to 84 so didn't help the situation much. My DH's dog (staying at my humble abode) sat outside for most of the day, watching the garage door for the Mr. to come back. (he's not due back until manana). Now THAT is dedication! :D:rolleyes:

Phew - eee! I love the heat, but 105 - wow! That might be just a teensy-weensie bit hot!

It was in the mid 80's here in NJ. Lovely! And, only a little bit of rain today - yeah!

After going to the DL + CO DOs. I think there is a significant mentality difference between the DL + CO elites.

There were a lot of personal attacks on specific FTers and groups in general. If you go into the DL forum, there is a DO dress code thread that says a lot.

Yeah, it's a bloody circus of heat since I got here. :rolleyes: to the max.

I am making it comfortable inside and praying that the power bill stays under $200. We'll see what happens, what with the local co-op being able to charge whatever they damn well please.

Apparently Barton Springs is our friend these days. I may head on out to that 68 degree goodness tomorrow and jump in every five minutes. The weather is making me crazy, especially for this early in the year. Last time it was this hot, Rita had just blown through IAH and the nice folks in AUS had cleared out the supermarkets here for no good reason.

Not that nice here. Too d@mn hot to get out and do anything, but not quite as bad as in Texas. But still hot.
