I still have my scorecard from Royal St. Kitts that contains the highest high and the lowest low of my time spent golfing...both of which conveniently occurred in the same round. If you look at that card, you will see a string of four pars (:D) -- No. 8 thru No. 11, IIRC, and then at the end of the card you will see that I had carded an 84 thru sixteen holes, only to finish 8-8 and close out at 100. ()

Why keep the card?

I have somehow managed to not actually go to it as a destination yet though. I suppose that's something I should do.

You have done alot. It's nice to be able to spend quality time in a place such as Paris. Did you find any unique things while shopping? Buy any artwork by starving artists?

Have fun at the Opera House and don't forget to look up at the ceiling.

On TPC The Canyons - let's just say that there's a very prominent drop area on 2, the course superintendents felt it important to note that the hazard is 364 yards from the men's tee on 3 (without much elevation), and 15 was playing a little over 600 yards ... (the course has tee markers with a rating above the tips simply called "TPC".) And I was playing in the summer.

Remarkably, I played a lot better than I expected (this was the day I was hitting 2 irons after instruction on the range) but the sheer magnitude of the number out of context is

That's awesome...the brunette especially. How kind of her to show her hiney, even if it's out of focus.

I particularly liked how she demonstrated manually inflating the lifejacket.

Ruth's Chris in ACY is . My gift card was of a promo version that did not allow for tax and tips. No other restaurant that I ever dealt with who gave me any kind of a stored value card that did not cover all parts of the bill. My revolving referral accounts that I had with Morton's and with Carmine's both let me apply whatever I wanted to the bill.

Add to that since I'm not working in Atlantic City anymore: Ruth's Chris was always a second-tier choice, and I had said that to all of my guests...I have now proved it by going there, and I have no desire to go back.

I've never been impressed with Ruth's Chris. And all their hoopla over putting butter on their steak is . I'd just as soon go to an Outback.

The "smoking is a big no-no" finger jab is more annoying than Deltalina's "smoking is not allowed" finger wag.

Apparently not once in a lifetime, but I'd have to move to tornado alley to get more of them.

I have a great three bedroom house for sell in Tornado Alley if you want. Will make you a good deal! Heck, I would swap it for your place! :)
