Then I found my scorecard from TPC The Canyons ...

I went by le Tour Eiffel on a boat, saw it looming from many places, saw it lurking nearby at others, and was pleasent surprised to see it poking up in the distance at some points.
I have somehow managed to not actually go to it as a destination yet though. I suppose that's something I should do. Have fun at the Opera House and don't forget to look up at the ceiling. |
On TPC The Canyons - let's just say that there's a very prominent drop area on 2, the course superintendents felt it important to note that the hazard is 364 yards from the men's tee on 3 (without much elevation), and 15 was playing a little over 600 yards ... (the course has tee markers with a rating above the tips simply called "TPC".) And I was playing in the summer.
Remarkably, I played a lot better than I expected (this was the day I was hitting 2 irons after instruction on the range) but the sheer magnitude of the number out of context is  |

Ruth's Chris in ACY is . My gift card was of a promo version that did not allow for tax and tips. No other restaurant that I ever dealt with who gave me any kind of a stored value card that did not cover all parts of the bill. My revolving referral accounts that I had with Morton's and with Carmine's both let me apply whatever I wanted to the bill. Add to that since I'm not working in Atlantic City anymore: Ruth's Chris was always a second-tier choice, and I had said that to all of my guests...I have now proved it by going there, and I have no desire to go back. |

Similar on the horizon but up overhead the clouds were like bright orange cotton balls. And the sky glowed orange. Apparently it is similar to the way the sky looks before a tornado comes through. They were sortof like this, but orange.
Apparently not once in a lifetime, but I'd have to move to tornado alley to get more of them. |
