Current loads don't look like any bump potential on Sunday - of course there wouldn't be any on the day I would take as many as I could get.

Just finished watching the Cavs play about the worst game of the post season. It reminded me of the days of yore :o

all seats are sold on my flight out of EWR on sunday.I have an appointment at my Dest but it can be 1-2 hours later.
Right now the next flight is almost empty and arrives 1.5 hours later, so I may go for that one if the offer a bump.

For some of us "days of yore" = "only making the playoffs twice in a decade".

I'm confused now - aren't you flying out of PHL?

Got it now - although I'm a segment hog, I haven't flown a segment less than 100 miles in quite a while. Plus, PHL-EWR would specifically violate my personal "don't fly into a Port Authority Airport" rule.

Successfully married!

And now to find out if there will be a honeymoon... It appears that  Southern Airlines is now thermally scanning all passengers boarding the LAX-CAN flight.

I told the agent he should have asked me first and I would have gladly said yes.

In all seriousness, bumping a plat from an exit row isn't kosher.

+1 I would be pretty livid if that happened to me. It is inappropriate for a GA to bump someone because of a celebrity.

No worries. She's passed out cold next to me in the TBIT SkyTeam lounge. I'll rouse her for boarding soon (which begins 01:30 prior to flight time due to thermal scanning).

Do you have a notebook to keep a diary of your journey?

MBM3 May 24, 2009 11:13 pm

Also, do not forget to send postcards to yourselves from each stop. They look great in scrapbooks.
